    Default hair color dilemma

so...I really, really, really want red hair again. But I have a ton of neon pink work clothes, and it would suck not to be able to wear them b/c they clash with red hair.

I could do a violet-red/burgundy and that would go with any color of clothing, but that's not what I want. Any cosmetologists on SW? Is there any shade of actual red that wouldn't clash with everything (particularly my precious neon pink )?

I'm not talking about Carrot Top or Conan O'Brien red (which is sort of orange), I want some kind of darker rich auburn. I love these shades:

(mine would be a bit darker though, since I just want to use semi-permanent color.)

Even something like this, I might possibly like; it's a lot more understated reddish-brown:

Is there any similar shade of red that I can still wear at least some bright colors with?

I had hot pink peek a boo highlights with auburn hair (like the last link) for a while and it didn't clash... I'm sure your clothes will look just fine with an all over auburn.

Can't reccomend any actual color formulas since I don't know what your hair looks like currently and I only work with professional (Redken) color.

ooh, really? That would rock. I don't think I can do pink hair though, b/c I'm looking for a day job (boooooo).

you think so? OK, I'm just going to go for it then. I change my hair color all the time anyway...so even if I can't wear certain colors, it'll probably only be for a few months.

Sveta, I think you would look hot with red hair! And screw clashing! I think pink looks fine on redheads!
