C V S has a tiny pen sized spray hand sanitizer that's only 99¢ which takes up way less space than even the tiny bottles of gel - and I think this stuff smells nicer too =)

I almost forgot , some shower shoes or el cheapo flip flops. In the DR sometimes it's best not to walk on the floor barefooted. Or even use the shower, thats how all kinds of foot fungus is transferred.

ix-nay on the cootchie spray. yeast infections suck.

woman- PM me already and tell me what club you're starting at- I'll either know it or know OF it and can find out some more info for you (like does it have a housemom, etc.) Honestly, all you need is clothes/heels, makeup, hair stuff, gum/mints, baby wipes & sanitizer if you really want. And your stripper purse, and body spray/deodorant. And bring your ID/SS card in case there's any legal shit you need to fill out... and a snack or something.

No water bottle- many clubs don't allow outside drinks in the dressing room. You can get a drink when you're there, or ask if you're allowed to bring one for the future.

If your knees stick to the stage, rub a little baby powder on them, it'll help you slide but wont kill someone else someone should start or bring back up a thread for all the wierd cool shit we learn over the years we wish we'd known sooner...

i agree about the snack item idea

this is a very often overlooked item, even by girls that have been dancing a long time... i ALWAYS bring a container of almonds with me to munch on, they are the best snack i've found that are easy to carry in your bag or suitcase (i buy them in bulk, then put them into a tupperware container). its much better than ordering bar/club food, which is rarely nutritious and usually makes one feel full, bloaty and lazy... not the way you want to feel before getting back on stage!

Also, cell phone, in case you don't already have one, or change so you can make your calls (cab, friends to pick you up if you don't drive), and an exit strategy in case you don't have your license. (I had to run out of my club because the license guy came, tee hee). Did someone say an extra thong? ANother outfit is good too, in case someone else already has the same one. Don't chew gum on the floor, it looks trashy. Bring one of those travel size mouthwashes, if it's a busy night, you can stick it in your purse.

One thing I learned recently is that a little baby powder is good for getting rid of the sweat you build up around your hairline. I tend to build up a sweat, so now I can't live without it. Also, I wear knee high boots so even though my club forces us to carry around these stupid matching pink boxes to keep our money in, I just use mine for lip gloss and put my money in my boots...In one night I think I loose that box about 3 times. Also, if you wear fake eyelashes, don't forget eyelash glue and spirit gum. Oh and a hair brush! A phone charger never hurts either.
