My allergies have been really bad the past two days. I can't stop sneezing and the roof of my mouth is itching crazy and then my scalp is like on fire.

I have the same problem right now. I guess I'm getting them early this year. I lso think it might be an early fall in NC this year.

I think there's something in the air. I woke up fine, but after a run outside me and my boyfriend both have had ridiculous runny noses and non-stop sneezing. We look like we've been smoking pot all day because our eyes are totally blood shot and half closed! The weird thing is we ran with like a billion other people (it was for a 5K) and I didn't notice anyone else with any problems. So crazy. But this is getting so severe I'm getting a headache. About to go find some allergy meds.

Yes. I have the nasty-ass drainage...

I went to my allergist/ENT and he stuck that long ass weird thing up my nose and down my throat. Everything appears normal, just allergies, he said. Then he placed me back on my Clarinex (one pill at night) and Nasonex (one pump for each nostril in the day). So now I sleep my normal 8 hours PLUS an extra 4 HOUR nap whenever I can fit it in. My ear is still dripping from the inside (that's how I describe the feeling to the doctor but he says its not the ear) but not as much as before.

I plan to get immunotherapy shots next year because this allergy-thing is ridiculous...

I guess it varies, depending on geographic location, & type of allergy(ies) you have. I do notice mine get really bad right before & during my period. I try to take @ least 1,000mg vit. C per day, & of course my garlic cap. I also take generic Claritin, & a nasal spray.
The type I have is sneezing, runny nose, sometimes itchy eyes. Last month, it got really bad in a hot, dry weather. But high humidity can kick it off too.

To all allergy sufferers- go to www.weather.com . They have allergy maps for various allergens (mold, grass, trees, etc). On home page, also an option for individual city counts, and, or high pollen count areas.
