Default Colorado plastic surgery recommendations please

My wife would like the 'mommy makeover and then some' after having two children. I personally think she is gorgeous but after the two kids she does not like where some things have ended up or the ... lack of tightness and muscle tone. We have spoken at length about getting this done for her if/when she is ready but as you all know, finding the right place to go is very nerve racking.

Hence me coming to you - who else to come to for help than those that may have had personal experience with someone in our area.

So, we are on the hunt to talk to as many people as we can to gather their experiences in the Denver Metro area. We will of course travel as necessary if we cannot find what we are looking for here but we'd like to start in the Denver area first.

Prior to our children she had 32 D breasts, so pert she actually didn't have to wear a bra if she didn't want to. She was very slender and in shape but her skin did not take well to the pregnancy and she has stretch marks now. Her breasts are 36 DD's and they do not stand at attention like they used to or like she wants them. She is very unhappy with what has happened to her and no matter what I say or do it's not changing her mind. (Hence this thread)

She's looking for a breast lift, tummy tuck and anything else that may help with stretch marks. Please contact me directly or in this thread with any information, personal experiences, and if you are comfortable before and after pictures. Information and/or pictures on scarring would be great, too.

    Thank you -
    Justin

Oh, she also sprung on me tonight that she'd consider being a dancer if all goes well. Sweet!

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback and I welcome more. I'll search for the nose job as well.

I would NOT recommend Jeremy Williams at Park Meadows. First, he is not board certified and makes no effort to volunteer this info. Second, he is very set in the type of "look" he likes and he will not go outside that. An example:
I went in for a BA consult...I am very tall and thin with a very narrow chest, so ideally, I want the high profile cohesive gel silicone. He won't even work with the high profile implants. That's just silly in my opinion. He seem like his experience is very limited. I didn't feel as though I would be safe in his hands. And he's stinkin' expensive for someone who doesnt have their board certification in plastic surgery yet.

The two most awarded and best rated plastic surgeons in the Denver area are Dr. John Bershof and Dr. Stacy Folk. They are both board certified, with Stacy Folk rated as one of the best surgeons in America and Dr. Bershof voted top doctor by 5280 for at least five years in a row. I believe they both work out of Rose Medical Center ( know for sure that Dr. Bershof does).

From someone who agonized over the decision to get plastic surgery, let me share some of the insight I obtained during the process:

    1) Understand what works with your body; if you have a tiny ribcage, you want higher profile, more centered tits. If you are tall, you DO NOT want the doctor to talk you into turning the tip up during a nose job.

2)Research, research, research. Know that you want and be prepared to verbalize it clearly and adamantly during your consultation. If you are knowledgeable, you can have open dialogue with your surgeon, as opposed to teacher student interaction. If you cannot have open, comfortable dialogue with the surgeon, FIND ANOTHER ONE!

    3) Once you've found someone who seems to do good work and that you can communicate with don't be afraid to have multiple consultations. In the first one you find out what is possible, it is then your job to reconcile what you want with what is possible. Generally they wont charge you twice.

    4) Be prepared to spend the money on a reputable, highly awarded and well recommended surgeon. This is your body, you don't want some hack job who may or may not fuck up, not do what you want, etc. Imagine the horror of hating it AND having to pay for it. Plastic surgery is cheaper in the Midwest than on either of the coasts, but be prepared for approx. 10,000 on a well done rhinoplasty and at least 5,000 on breast augmentation. I have no idea what a tummy tuck, liposuction costs.

    Hope that helps
