Default What type of dancer are you

Im not sure if we have had a poll like this before but whatever there are plenty of new members here.

I only dance in clubs so I chose house/club dancer.

Some of you might do a combination of types so you can choose more than one option.

I'm a retired dancer (newbie retired, almost a whole week now LOL). Before that, house club dancer and private parties.

I think there's one more category. Chronic amateur. At least up here in New England, we have girls that tour around and only do amateur nights (generally because they don't look good enough or can't dance well enough to get hired by the house)

Newbie Dancer should have been a choice

BTW, what is the difference between "club" and "house" dancer?

I checked retired cause it was the closest one. I've been "retired" for a little over 3 months but am seriously considering coming back to the club this winter and giving it another shot.

Alrite Aussies....whats the difference between showgirl and feature?? I have heard some of you guys describe yourselves as a showgirl, but I always thought that was synonymous with feature??

What about freelance? I show up a few clubs regularly, but I'm not a house girl at any of them. Just that I'm not on the schedule. So I put showgirl. I either show up or don't, lol.

    ahah that is cute^

I think you'd still be a house dancer though unless you have an actual contracts with a couple clubs and your expected to put on a great, planned stage show and not much else. Otherwise you're a house dancer at a club that doesn't require schedules, like mine
