Default rejecting a customer- my vent

i dont post too much on here, but well this is an interesting situation. guess it'd be nice to hear what some other ladies would do. feel free to chime in. no flaming please!

so last night was VERY slow at my club. i approached 2 guys for dances. one was fairly nice but turned me down. the other, trying to be a smart ass, said he would buy a dance but then said, 'no changed my mind'. they both laughed. they did not tip me or anything. they were attempting to waste my time (in other words keep talking and talking) and i cut them short. so i told them, 'well, i guess i'll just move on to greener pastures.'

so later on, i'm with my regular, who is very nice and spends and we have a great time together. i had just finished dancing for him. the guy who turned me down earlier came up to me and asked when i would be in again because he promised that it would be worth my while next time. honestly, i watched those guys reject dancer after dancer and not tip or anything and be incredibly cheap, so i felt they deserved a taste of their own medicine. i know, maybe it was a bad idea, but i got fed up with their behavior. our dances are not expensive. so i pointed to my regular and said, ' i have found my greener pasture already! yay!' the guy looked so sad! and my regular burst out laughing.

perhaps i am wrong about my assumptions, but if you cant even tip me on stage, constantly dick me around and make empty promises, why the hell would i believe you?

would you have done the same thing, ladies?

but of course I would have done the same thing! If they're not spending money on me, they might as well not even exist. What else can you do but get a good laugh by blowing them off?

I would have done the same thing as you, although I thought you were a bit nicer than I would have been. The guy was just trying to get another high off of you by telling you he would make it worth your while next time and get your hopes up and when he didn't, he was disappointed. What an ass.

^Like iseestars said, I would have done the same thing only I would have been a total bitch and said something really rude. Stuff like that really gets under my skin and I just blow up at people like that.
You handled yourself really well, I always admired dancers who stayed calm under pressure in those situations!

I definitely don't think it was a bad idea to choose your regular over a broke jackass.

As far as I'm concerned, getting to do stuff like that -- fire or reject an undesirable client -- is one of the best job perks we get.

Totally. I reject assholes once in awhile, and it feels good. It's confusing for them, which is hilarious.
