Ok, I new to this board and after months of lurking I feel comfortable enough to share some of my thoughts.
So, why not start with a venting post?
I work in Vegas at a very busy club. There are often 200-500 girls working during my shift. I work with many sick hustlers in an extremely competitive club with many gorgeous girls. I try to avoid drama at all cost, but lately I've had a few encounters of 'bad stripper etiquette'.
For instance, last night I walked up to two guys that were standing at one of the bars. My friend was paired up with one, so I decided to start selling to the guy that was available. We were standing very close to each other and it was obvious that he was interested in me. In the middle of our conversation two girls came up and interrupted us! I decided to take the "high road" and not get catty with them because I'm not into confrontation, especially in front of a customer. Luckily, he turned down their offer and ended up going with me to VIP shortly after.
He did say that it was a turnoff for those girls to be so blatantly rude and disrespectful to me. He also said that he did a dance with one of the girls earlier in the night, but I still thought that it was unacceptable behavior.
What is even worse is that these girls were giving me the evil eye when they walked up and after the incident. I've never worked with either of them and to my knowledge they have no reason to have animosity towards me.
Should this type of behavior be tolerated? I've heard of cat fights taking place over these types of situations. Did I do the right thing by not reacting and ignoring their low and desperate attempts to steal my customer?
I'm sure many of you girls have been in my shoes. I just don't want these girls to think that they can treat me like a doormat.
Thanks for taking your time to read my post. I've learned so much from this amazing forum.
