Default One full week later, I'm moved in

    Jesus. H. Christ.

Moving was fun for like...the second it took to think of it. It's been all over the map...from exciting to disappointing to um..well exhausting.

I swear to god I have more bruises, injured fingers and sleepless nights than I can count.

But aside from needing a bed to sleep in, a kitchen table and chairs we are o.k.

It is SO nice to have a garage, almost 2,000 sq feet and a HOUSE. A fucking condo! In a great neighborhood with tons of kids...quiet and safe. Yet, I'm very much in the city and still pretty close to downtown.

Now comes the hard part. I some how have to manage to get the kids up to date on home school stuff. We did orientation today and we are missing some of our needed equipment from K12 (shipping issues) and had to go a week without cable so they couldn't get online.

I honestly need 3 weeks off of work to concentrate in learning their material and setting up some kind of schedule. Work is slow if not dead and good lord I need do I require money. i can't take all of us sleeping literally on the floor for another week. My oldest has Scoliosis so it's been a bitch.

Anyways, a few people have emailed...commented on my site and stuff and I just wanted to make it public all is well. and we are alive! Now to figure out how to get on a level where we are at "ease".

I also want to think ALL that helped me move be it physically & emotionally.

Thank you TOO and Hello_Kitty you both are amazing and I couldn't have managed without either one. Your friendships, voice of "you can do it" oh and loading a few boxes and stuff helped a ton.

HK I owe you sushi and TOO I owe you a book! I didn't forget!

    XO

I'll take photos tonight and update so everyone can see the awesomeness!

Glad to hear you're moved in and settled!! Good luck to you!!

PS- I have two extra beds (one is a full size matress and boxspring. I don't have a base for that but you can get it at IKEA for uber cheap) and I have a twin bed frame and mattress from IKEA. They're just chilling in my attic if you want to make the hour drive you can have them.

I'm proud of you for getting it all together. Moving can be extremely hard and stressful and bring out a lot of emotions. You're a very strong person, doing it all yourself with your two kids. Bravo!

Glad you're finally all set. Well 95% anyways. I'm off of work the last week of Sept/1st week of Oct. maybe we can grab starbucks or sushi. You totally don't "owe" me anything! We only helped for a couple hours.

Oh, a word of advice, if I may ...If you go get the beds and stuff, you might want to make sure to bring the rope. The front room might not be a good place for it.

Tony (my ex) bought some of your bf's books, btw. He's a huge reader & writer and he's straightedge and kinda into punk and stuff, so I've been telling him about your bf since you've told me about it...anyways, he finally checked out the website after we helped and bought some books. He likes them.

Beautiful. It is all coming together and you already sound much happier and more secure about your situation. Keep that chin up and working towards positive results in an honest and straight forward fashion and all will be in place before you know it.

Thank you guys! Yeah I will take pics I swear. I'm beyond exhausted I swear not a moment of rest but I think in a way I sort of needed that to get me out of my funk.

It's just hard to do work, or work around a new schedule I'm trying to make here. It's not impossible it's just chaotic at the moment.

HK...Chris told me Tony wrote him and had bought his books. I was pretty shocked! But in a good way.

And yes we have lots of rope which is now in the car not the living room lmao.

You did a great job getting through a stressful event. I am very happy to hear that everything is getting back to normal and you're enjoying your new place and feeling upbeat and positive.
Drought was over. Where was I? Drinks were on the house.
For mixers, my love, you'd poured--what?--even the rain.
