Blush, on SE Morrison (right off of MLK, below 10th... There's another thread about this place on SW somewhere). Also, Fascinations has good discounts.
Oh, this is a great opportunity for me to plug the WORLD'S greatest shoe repair shop. It's Dorian's, on SW Broadway right in between the Rite-Aid and the Payless. The people that work there do a great job on repairing your stripper shoes, are cheap, and most importantly are incredibly professional and respectful. I've been a customer of theirs for about 3 years when another dancer recommended them to me and I've been a believer ever since.
Bring in your busted shoes and they'll patiently explain how 5" platforms naturally get stress points here, here, and here on the ankle strap... what kind of polish the can use on the highlights... they can put on new soles for slippery shoes... etc...![]()
Also, there's Heaven's Closet... looks like 5429 SE 72nd Ave...

thank you. i'll be hitting them all up tomorrow.![]()

There's this great little place on Hawthorne -- not Metro, but another spot, I don't remember exactly what it's called but it's on 41st or so. Anyway, it's not a normal sex shop but more of a vintage/alternative clothing place, and they have nice bargains for unique clothes -- not just what you'll find at Cathie's or Snaz75.
There's another place downtown called, I think, The Future (unless I'm confusing it with another place, I might be wrong) and they have pricier stuff but a larger selection, particularly of shoes. The customer service is a bit aggressive though. They're on 10th at Burnside, right by Powell's.
Oh, Alteration Nation. I haven't bought anything from there but I have friends who have had awesome alterations done there.
I don't like the Future. They've been suuper bitchy and/or pushy there to me..
I didn't like heaven's closet the last time I was in PDX. the clothing was really expensive, and it wasn't worth the prices they were charging. half of her dresses had crappy seam stitching, and unfineshed hems and edges. I thought it was junk for the price.
