And no, not bc Posh did it. I've always loved this kind of boy style hair cut, but don't have the balls to cut it that short.

Holy shit, she looks like a Q-tip!

Think like a man
Act like a lady
Work like a dog

I like that cut, but not on her. She's so drawn looking....and orange. I don't get why people think she's such a fashion plate.
I think Sharon Stone looked much sexier with it. If you are going to have short hair like that you really need a beautiful face and body. It takes serious confidence to pull it off.
A girl at my club got this cut and it looks great on her. She's got a wild personality and pulls it off.

Check out my new eBay auctions.......
My mom has always cut it kind of like that. It looks good on her I would never do it though. Lysondra it's funny that you said," She looks like a Q-tip " because when my mom and I went to get our season passes at Fiesta Texas the picture they took made her look like a Q-tip or lightbulb, it was sooo funny my sister and I were making fun of her the whole time.

I wonder what they put in their hair so that it can look more textured?

She looks like a Halloween Q-Tip - all orange with a black puff.
I don't like any of the cuts in this thread. They just look hacked-off and butch to me. I like a more feminine look... it is possible (if difficult) to make very short hair look feminine, but in my opinion none of these cuts do it.
Elizabeth Taylor rocked the ladylike short hair...

Then again, Elizabeth Taylor could have pulled off anything.

That looks great on Elizabeth Taylor, but on any girl it looks like a grandma hair cut imo. I like the edgier look more.
I like the boy-cut Halle Berry had back then. It's similar to Posh's.
She may look like a q-tip, but she definitely has the face to rock dramatic short hair. I like it on her.

I wonder if this hair cut is going to become as popular as the 'Pob' has. I like it but I think I would look like a man or something lol I love my long hair
I have my hair cut short like VB's, and I use TIGI Manipulator for texture. That stuff is the best and it smells like the beach. I've also used Paul Mitchell ESP, which is all right. Basically any waxy/pomade type product works for texture.
My stylist also cuts my hair with a razor and that creates a lot of texture without product.

Some Douchebag: "[Pimp C] 12:43 am: its true we got to stick together the black people on SW CK you is teh condoleeza of SW"
I had this cut in college one summer, wore it pulled forward and all messy. It looks great, but I really only like it with a dramatic color. Jet black and platinum blonde look best imo.
Wax or pomade are best for styling.
That was my hair until I grew it at 26. I love having short short hair with short bangs!
I thnk Posh looks awesome twith that cut! I hadn't seen it yet. I love it. There is a girl at my club who has real short hair like that and pulls it off, but IMO you need to be super tiny and have fabulous bone structure for it to work, girls like Winona Ryder, Keira Knightley and Christina Ricci could work it. I wish I could, but I'd feel way too self conscious in it. I don't think I have a pretty enough face for it.
When I quit stripping it's going to be the first thing I do though - chop off my hair.
I'm confused, but the Chewbacca Truffle Shuffle cleared it up. - Emily
^^^ Why? I never understood why a woman would want to "chop it off," though I hear it all the time. I've always taken so much pride in my long, feminine hair and I feel so ugly with it short (I did not cut it willingly). I'm completely mystified by women with hair as gorgeous as yours who say they're eager to "chop it off." To me that's like a man looking forward to chopping off his own dick. Just... why?
No, and a man's dick doesn't define him either but it's still an important part of who he is and his gender identity and all that. I'm not saying a woman isn't a woman without long hair, or that she can't be pretty with short hair, but I never understood the whole "hack it off" mentality. I guess words like "hack" and "chop" just connote a butchered, careless effect and make it seem like hair is just something to be cleared like underbrush on a forest path.

Because some peoples hair is a real PITA to manage. If you live in a really hot place and have really thick hair it's hot and you end up wearing it up in a bun all the time. At least with it short you could have some style.
It's just easier to manage and make look nice if you have a busy life like a mom of young kids or have a weird texture.
People saying "chop it off" is out of frustration. They're sick of having to be hot all the time, it blowing all over their face or being out of control. Spending so much time trying to make it look decent...the list goes on.
I like the cat, I think it suits her, women with the confidence to pull off short hair are sooooo sexy. She is a bit orange though, she really needs to ease up on the St. Tropez.
I guess. I've just found short hair to be a lot more difficult to manage. Mine is wavy in some areas, curly in others, smooth on top and coarse underneath, and pretty thick; when it was long it was fine on its own, but with it short I have to style it every day or it just sticks out in different directions. I have to use more product and condition it more and it's just generally higher-maintenance. I guess if you have that kind of straight wash-and-go hair, it might be easier short, I don't know.
Yours not super short though is it? Mine is thick as hell, super wavy, slightly curly on the other side and that is part of the reason I looove it short. If it's about an inch or inch and a half all over I just slap some pomade in it to make it lay down and that's it (they have to thin it out with the shears first though).
I've had really long hair (more than halfway down my back) for most of my life though, so I guess when I do cut it all off it's just so freeing and such a nice change. Also, Joplin had a point, the only time I kept it in a pixie was in college when I had no air conditioning. I would do it again, but it really only looks good when your really thin and I'm not any longer.
I agree that you have to be tiny to pull of short hair most of the time, especially a pixie cut. Big eyes help too.
Mine is currently layered; the lowest layer is about an inch or two past my chin and the top layer is about an inch below the top of my ears. It looks okay on the day I wash it but then it just looks weird and unkempt the rest of the time. I have to get it wet and spray stuff in it and scrunch it up and flatiron my bangs and wait for it to dry and put pomade in it for it to look good. It was around waist-length for most of my life and that was so much easier, just brush and go. I miss it.
