I was/am a stripper pre- and post-Army active duty. Has anyone else on here served in the military too?

I was enlisted in The Air Force for about 5 years. I was a Command Post Liaison, working for the Commander of the bases that I was stationed at. I was stationed in Hawaii, Italy, and New Mexico (yuck!). I was going to become an Air Force Officer and be a Four Star General (hehe), but decided that I had accomplished enough, and it was time to move on and be MY OWN BOSS. It was definitely a great experience, though, and helped me build character, LOL.

That's awesome! I didn't know there were so many of you. I only knew of JustJayda, Armysgt, and JayZeno.
Anywho, I plan on joining the reserves of the Army. I haven't gone to take the ASVAB yet, but plan on contacting a new recruiter soon. The first guy I called NEVER called me, never returned my calls..I was ready to sign up ASAP too. *sigh*
I'm almost done w/ college so if I come in now, I'll be at least at an E-3.

^If you are almost done with college, I would wait till you have your degree and go in as an Officer. It's more money, and you are already placed in a leadership position.![]()

Still am in the army. Green To Gold scholarship 'ere soon. Off to be an officer with a nice 4 year break for college first.
I've been in 6 years, I'm done. I just want out. Maybe once I'm an officer I'll see what is what, but by then, I'll be back in the reserves, not caring that much. <3

I didn't have time to dance during AD. No need to anyway. My file has me listed as an exotic dancer under former employers and my alias, Hallie LOL they don't care. They need every warm body they can get. They take convicts now...
Pleasure victim- what was your MOS?

I definitely wouldn't doubt that.![]()
I couldn't dance when I was in The Air Force. The Air Force is probably the strictest out of all of The Armed Forces when it comes to their troops. They're considered the 'Preps' of the military. I really wanted to strip when I was on AD, but I probably would've been kicked out if I got caught.

52D(gen mech) then a 74B (info sys tech).
I wanted to dance while I was in but I wouldn't have dared done it in the same city. I didn't have a license so I couldn't drive to the other cities to work. I used to watch the guys in my unit go to clubs and spend so much of their check! LOL. I was stationed at the 'big post' on the east coast- that have about 9 or 10 clubs on one street. Even so, I still wouldn't risk it.
My 1st sergeant would have thrown me out for sure if they had any inclination. I know others who were in the clubs and some who did private parties and it was commom knowledge amongst the people they worked with, which goes to show how different people can have such different experiences in the same branch. Most of it depends on your supervisors and company commander and how strict they are.

How did you all do on your ASVAB tests? I do practice tests online and I do really well. But when it comes to the mechanical section I get damn near all the questions wrong.
Anybody buy study guides to use? http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories

i was AD Army. Got out due to an injury.
my drill sergeant once had all the girls in his office, dropped, bc we were bad. and he said everyone who was ever a stripper raise you hand. hahaha. a few of us did. then he went on to tel us that once he had about eight in one platoon! funny, funny.

I was dating an army medic about four years ago and considered joining the military in some form. When he was killed in Iraq, I kind of freaked out and lost interest.

go explain that to all the places i have ever filled out applications for.
even the VA hospital has it listed for Navy as well....MOS. rate according to them is the AD, while rank is the e-4 part.

but yes over the years it has gotten easier to use MOS, rather than rate when talking to other branches.
i argued with the VA forever one day over the semanitics of rate versus mos.
was like beating my head against the wall without the nifty colored tracers in front of eyes afterward
