    Default just bought a dyson

I just bought a dyson allergy and asthma vacuum and I am in love! I can't believe all the crap that it got up off my floor- and I just vacuumed yesterday! Seriously. I have no words. It is just the best, most awesome thing ever. I have an area rug in my living room that hasn't been free of animal hair well....ever. Today, one time through with the dyson, it looks like new.

    Anyone else have a dyson?

I have the DC-15 (ball base and a motorized brush bar). I got it through a reward program at work, so it was free, but I think it costs around $500. I'm impressed, but not blown away by it. My only complaint would be that the motorized brush bar is rather loud.

It cost me 423 dollars. It's priced at 499, but I bought it at bed bath and beyond with a 20% off coupons (sign up for their mailing list and you'll get them in the mail every so often) so I saved 100 with the coupon, then 6% sales tax.

I freaking love it. It is both fascinating and disgusting to look at the dirt and dust this vacuum removed from my floor.

I love mine. I have the absolute animal.

It's hard to get excited about a vacuum, but I love it. With two dogs (one with long fur, the other with tiny little furs,) and a cat, it rocks. It's so easy to do stairs and furniture. I even do my bedspread sometimes. I love that I can do hard floors and little flecks of shit don't go flyimg everywhere. It really sucks!

I got mine for $500. It's normally $550, but I used a lowes 10% off coupon. I shopped around. There are some great deals on refurbished ones on ebay. I think they are mostly floor models and nothing is wrong with them.

I liked it because it come with all the attachments. I love the low reach tool for my hard floors and the mini turbine head is essential for furniture and stairs.

*Grumbles* I don't have a dyson..... but I DREAM of the day I get an apartment with hardwood floors.

    OMG I hate carpet!

Kudos on the new vacuum, though!

I have a dyson and I love it! I don't have the allergy one, maybe I should upgrade...

Yes! We have a Dyson Animal. It's the best for getting my asshole boxer's hair out of the carpet. It's a great vacuum!

How long have you had yours Emily, PoleKitten and sexyjess?

Im wondering if it will last along time. Usually I spend over 250 on a vacuum and they break on me or stop sucking good. Does this one suck good for a long time?

I've only had mine a few months, but I know they are very good about guaranteeing them if something goes wrong.

My friend accidentally vacuumed up her curtains and it wasn't working right. She took it back to Bed Bath and Beyond and they replaced it right there.

I am the same way, though. I go through vacuums so fast! I think it's all the animal hair, so I hope this one does what it's supposed to. But even if it doesn't last a super long time, at least I feel like my carpet is clean.
When I was selling my house, I was vacuuming every other day and I would get two FULL canisters of stuff every time!
