well it might be a good idea to see your physician but i also know that even though they do prescribe meds for it, that you really should try to get in under control with out them as much as you can. My doc suggested for me to not stress ( like it's something i can avoid?) also caffeine seems to make it worse for me, i notice that when i have a little too much diet coke i start to get that uneasy anxious feeling in my stomach. I would suggest trying to get it under control yourself as much as possible (i know it's easier said than done) but also getting an rx for back up. GOOD LUCK! i know it's such a hard thing to deal with.

I know it's tiring to deal with especially when you've been dealing with it as long as you have. Then make an appt. to see you're doc and see about getting a prescription for meds. I personally take ativan, but their are other meds they prescribe like xanax & klonopin, i don't know much about the other two since i've never taken them.

I suggest you look into Cognitive Behavior Therapy or teach yourself how to control your thoughts. Try to think more positive, uplifting, constructive thoughts. Do not worry everything in your life will work out exactly as it is meant to.

If your panic attacks are that severe (and I know mine are), I suggest looking for a Psychiatrist and seeking treatment. Panic Disorder is a serious disease and should not be taken lightly.
Also, have you checked out The Anxiety/Panic Recovery Support thread in Members Boards? There's lots of good stories and experiences in there from many SW'ers who suffer with panic attacks and severe anxiety.

also take a fish oil supplement or hemp or flax oil. Eat healthy so that your brain and nervous system can function correctly.

I have a really bad anxiety disorder and I know alot of "symptoms" come with it so I would suggest you go to a psychiatrist . I really doubt any type of supplement or anything will help because I have tried everything and it keeps getting worse .

I replaced taking Xanax with these Emporer's Tea pills. I prefer to use natural remedies. They really get rid of anxiety fast, no side effects.

I'm sorry ~ I had bad anxiety and panic (with agoraphobia for about 8 months at one point), not fun. I let my PA's get so bad I had to search for a pysch to visit my home.![]()
Go with your gut - your GP can prescribe the meds but a psychiatrist can help you work through whatever is triggering you to feel so anxious.
