I haven't been to Scarlett's, but PhillyDJ works there. He might be able to answer a few questions for you.

    Uh-oh...

Doesn't sound good, Philly. Sorry to hear that, if that's what I'm hearing. Maybe you should come down and check out my last club here, they still have a doorguy as one of the two DJs, you would blow him away, lol!

They probably won't have a DJ even if they get some guy who thinks he can fill the shoes, either.

To answer the question, maybe they mean there isn't a DJ during the day?? I don't know, that's all I can figure, or they knew what was going down already.

Haha, ExoticSummer, you should go in and say "Hey I heard you had a kickass DJ named PhillyDJ (or whatever you call yourself at work), is he here tonight, that's why I wanted to try this club!

Haha! That's what I did--less than half a block away, they expanded and most nights we have more people, usually a lot more. I fucking love it, and once in a while I love going to the old club and spending lots of money. The one manager I used to argue with notices, believe me. The best revenge is living well and kicking the ass of the dumb fucks.

Okay, here's the lowdown on the clubs in the area... Scarlet's sucks... it's totally going under and they are charging like $85/night to work there. All the renovations/changes/etc have caused the customer base to run to Erv's. Reflections is HORRIBLE... forget it. I'd have to say, Philly might be your best bet, but even Philly's kind of out of wack. I'm taking a hiatus until conditions improve.

I haven't seen Irv's discussed too much on this board, though I often heard about it from customers. What's the environment like there?

first off...Hi raquel (I now wait for the cursing and insults to begin). I wouldnt say the renovations are driving customers away so much as is the fact my last night there...a FRIDAY I had 6 girls. Might be okay for a smaller place but, its not that small. The fact they bring in features now and even THAT isnt helping speaks volumes. I wont talk to bad about the place, not my style....but lets just say there are ALOT of better options out there.

I worked at Erv's 4 years ago and also 1 1/2 years ago on the day shift, so forgive me if my info isn't current. But when I worked there I LOVED it. About 3453987 times better than Scarlets. Its a decent-sized club, and the housefee is outrageously cheap. Erv himself is pretty laid-back, and he doesn't have that whole pimp-approach that George (owner of Scarlets) has.

Erv's takes $10 out of every dance. Most girls charge $30 to get $20, some charge $40. I would have loved to keep working there, but its in my hometown and I got too nervous about having run-ins with people I know in the club.

For the record, the owner of Scarlets is a fucking prick and preys on young new girls. That was my very first club 4 years ago, he knew I was 19 and new and made me give him a FUCKEN LAPDANCE TO GET HIRED GROSS. I know better now, but back then I was so naive and he really made me think thats what I had to do to get hired at clubs.

Hey Curious Seeker if there is any other info you want to know about Erv's just ask, I know I'm leaving stuff out but my minds all jumbled.

Good to know, and good to know that there are SC owners like him.

I understand what you're saying about folks you know or who are in your area. My club (I SHALL return after my accident injuries more fully heal) is kind of close to home (about 50 minutes), and already I've seen one guy I danced for eating at a local Chinese food place with his girlfriend (he looked horrified and scared to death when we made eye contact lol). I've seen another 3 guys at a gym. So far, nothing gruesome to report, but it's no longer a risk of seeing people from or around the hometown, but a reality.

So sweet of you - thanks. I'm hoping my old club takes me back when my body is ready, but I'm curious about what else is out there, just in case. Cutey, I definitely appreciate the info.

The fact is this: Scarlet's was GREAT... BACK IN THE DAY. It's over now. They are not running it properly so the girls are RUNNING.. I personally know of several Scarlet's girls working at Coyotes, and even .... Babydolls! If Scarlet's can whip itself back into shape the way it used to be, it might be okay... but, I think the owner is a bit too busy with his other ventures at this point.

Lastly, cursing and insults? Wha?? Anywho...

i was visiting friends in allentown over the weekend and curious about scarletts. they'd gone as customers before and practically pleaded with me to not go because it has a bad reputation. id rather work in nyc so i didnt ask much about scarlettes, all i got was, "yeah that place sucks".

sorry if its not really useful, but it didnt seem to be liked at all so i thought that was worth noting. since its a small area, i think bad word of mouth would affect business.

i might be going to PA for august so if you know of any clubs in the area let me know (:

Scarlets was my first club. George made me do the lap dance thing too, I was really grossed out, and I thought it was the norm but I needed the money. Made $500 in 3 days. Decided the cash wasn't worth it. They tell you its a low contact club, which is bullshit. Its high contact. You get fined for EVERYTHING. I only stayed for like a week. Latest info is that they charge 50 on a weekday/ 150 on a friday or saturday if you only work one of those days. 110 if you work both. Your required to work 1 weekday. House is paid out of private dances, every dance after house they get 10$. You also pay 10$ to do a show (like a lotion, wax, or paint show) I had one night I owed house. And mind you I think I was easily in the top 3 best looking gals there.

I enjoyed dancing, so I'm looking for a new club now. When I left Scarletts all the girls told me to go to Ervs. The customers told me to as well honestly. I also here there is a new club in Coopersburg.

    Goodluck purty lady!

I'm new to SW (hi!) but I have worked at Scarlets. As previously stated the management does not know how to deal with customers or dancers. They charge exorbitant house fees (up to $150) and the decent money that can be made there is not worth the bull shit. They will pressure you to work 12-12 shifts and if you only want to bust your ass 6-12 they charge you a higher house ($90 v $110 for a weekend).

Reflections in Bethlehem is now called Glow and the management is the complete opposite of Scarlets. Management is friendly and flexible. Also if you work a 6-2 shift they do not charge you a house fee and you keep 100% of your dance money until midnight. Howver, business has been slow lately from what I here.

If you do not mind a bit of a travel I would not currently reccomend either club because of management and slow cash flow respectively.
