Guys Want me, but not the champagne

At my club in columbia, South Carolina we have champagne rooms that are 500 for the hour and you HAVE TO buy a bottle of champagne that starts at $285 and goes up in addition to that. I was selling them like hotcakes, but now I can'[t seem to sell any of them. One of the biggest objections is that they are willing to pay me,but they aren't buying a bottle of $100 champagne for $285. I try to tell them to just get an hour in our regular vip rooms (couch dances) but usually after they've walked back or they find out about the champagne they feel like i've tried to take advantage of them and won';t even buy one more dance. I'm sort of stuck here because if i don't mention it, they won't buy it and by mentioning it i get cut off from money i could have made if i hadn't tried to sell it. The cham[pagne hostess just says to not give them any price or clue whats going on before we get back there, but that is easier said than done. HELP!!!

i've worked in a club that told us to leave the price conversation up to the CR hostess, but I didn't agree with that system. Like you said, there were too many guys that would take the whole tour and freak out at the price, therefore wasting my precious time. What I started doing was giving them a ballpark figure of how much it was going to be before we went to talk to her. That significantly cut down my # of walk outs. Is there an alternative to the champagne? Like a $100 drink tab? If not you could try playing up a bottle of champagne like something fun and exciting "...and we get to share a whole bottle of champagne getting drunk and frisky...ooo I'm a lot funner when i drink champagne..."
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?

Can you try quoting the entire price like "It's $785 for an hour and you get a free bottle of Champagne!"

That is so expensive that it seems like either a joke or a nightmare. If your management doesn't know this by now, they're stupid. Their marketing strategy is out of date with the times, but likely they are so enamored with themselves that they cannot see the problem and so will tend to blame you.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that, as a customer, that is way beyond what most guys could pay. Maybe in a 'high class' place like where it costs $50 to get in, that type of customer could/would pay it. But considering that it is not just the profit per session but the number of sessions that determines how much money is made. I know l that a lot of southern states follow that expensive marketing model, but I don't see how that works. For example why not sell a $25 bottle of champagne for $50 or just throw it into the outrageous $500 price?

I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

If they stay multiple hours do they have to keep buying bottles?

At my club the minimum bottle is $375 and $400 to the dancer. I sell it by saying they only have to buy the bottle for the first hour and then after that it's just $400 an hour (instead of $775/hour). Seems like a deal and implies that we'll be spending multiple hours together. Like if we don't finish the bottle and the hour comes to a close I get them to extend by saying, "oh lets keep going and finish the bottle" giggle.

We also have a regular $400 VIP option that has a $60 drink min instead but it's not as private. So, when selling, I try to read the customer if I can get him interested in multiple hours then I sell the bottle if I think he will only bite for the drink min VIP then I sell that. Or I push both and take what I can get because I'm still making the same regardless of what room we're in.

In your situation if they balk at the bottle price, drag them to the other VIP instead and act like that's the norm and what they wanted. Be confident and assertive about it and you shouldn't lose the sale.

That's why it's VIP. From what I see those prices are in line with a lot of other clubs and it works just fine. And to the OP I personally think when guys says "oh, I don't want to pay for the champange, but i would pay for you", it's an excuse to turn down the CR w/o just saying "no, I can't or don't want to pay the price". To me that line is the same as "oh, I don't buy dances in strip clubs", just on a different level.

^^ It's a GREATLY different story when you are in the receiving line. Or if you already bought your yacht.

EXACTLY. Totally right on that's EXACTLY what I would do.

Custie: Where can we go to be alone?

You: The champagne room is our most intimate option.

    Custie: What goes on there?

You: Well, it's like a little ceremony. It's pretty intense so first we need to get a little bit loopy by sharing some AMAZING champagne. Then, I proceed to make all your dreams come true.

Custie: sounds great! What are we looking at pricewise?

You: Everything included, you , me, a bottle of dom and a nice dark room is 750.00 It's supposed to be for an hour, but if you're nice to me I can always "loose track of time" for a little bit.

(I actually do this sometimes for people who spend a lot of money. I start the hour when we get our drinks...again not always, but depending on the situation. And as my manager says, try to make 500 dollars in an hour on the floor. Not so easy ! I'd rather spend an extra fifteen minutes in the vip to make five hundred dollars in an hour and fifteen minutes then try to make it on the floor in an hour, if you get my drift)

(I would say 750 it just sounds better than 785. If you have to eat the fifteen dollars yourself, do it...its like why walmart sells shit for 19.99. It sounds cheaper than 20 dollars.)

It's not the only VIP option, we are discussing the most expensive VIP option.
It's amusing when customers take it as a personal affront when they hear pricing that is out of their reach and think that applies to everyone.

These rooms sell and actually sell out or have long waits so what's your point? There are still cheaper options for you.

You obviously haven't been on the receiving end of a $785/hour room so why comment? If you don't want to buy it, guess what? DON'T! There are plenty that do .
