Either one of platinum stage models or an X-pole. I've been hearing alot of complaints lately about Lil' Mynx pole coming unscrewed from the ceiling so I'd avoid them.

I'm very happy with my Lil Mynx. Who had one unscrewed?? If it's done properly, it should not unscrew.

X-Pole. Preferably the titanium, since it's stickier (easier to grip for unfamiliar pole tricks). I love it.

    This is the X-pole FAQ.

    http://www.xpoleus.com/faqs.html

It's actually really easy to put together (but definitely requires at least ten minutes even after you have some practice, unless you know the ceiling really well). Just make sure it is very very tight against your ceiling. I didn't make sure, and it dislodged, which wasn't a big deal, thanks to the dome top. The top of the pole just moved a few inches when I did a really spinning-intense move while it was static. I repositioned and tightened it, and problem solved.

Mine took for fucking ever, but it was worth the wait.

I'm finally learning how to dance on a spinning pole! Apparently, spinning scorpios and gemini on a static pole require the OPPOSITE movement from doing them on a spinny pole.

I can see the pole coming loose, but it shouldn't fall. The dome keeps it from traveling too much.
