Default Shapewear.... You know, waist cinchers...aka a girdle.

How do I find one of those tummy cinchers that actually works? I have one that mom bought me a while back. (Guess that was a pretty broad hint I need to loose some weight, huh?) It's an XS and fits like a loose swimsuit. The only thing it does it try to pull my boobs off.

Yep, instead of pushing them up it kinda tugs them downward... Ouch! It's kind of comical it makes them look like pointy, cone boobs that point out to the sides. Oh, and it makes a tiny dent in the bottom, of my butt and the sides of my hips. Like that's flattering. I guess it's because my thighs are guargantuan.

Anyway, anybody know a certain brand that doesn't run extra-huge? A specific place to go to buy one? I have this little tummy that I really want to hide. Oh, and I need it by Thursday, so ordering online is probably a no-go.

    Help please!!! Pretty, pretty, please?

what about Dr. Rey's Shapewear? it really sucks you in & pushes up your boobs so they don't have that "cone shape" that you're talking about & they have all kinds of different types like a corset or a plunge body suit, they even have a tummy + thigh shaper anyways they have a pretty big variety to choose from. Plus i'm pretty sure you can buy them at sears.

Thank you girls for all your help! I'm going with the spanx, because it's a lot more comfortable than regular shapewear....and it comes in small sizes.

Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any smalls around here! This is pissing me off. What do they think? Only really obese people like to have a smooth silhouette? Fuck them! I'm driving to Raleigh today because they always have a bigger selection.

I've gotta get one of those Higher Power thingies, because the low waist one hits right where my dress is the clingiest. Not a good look! Looks like I'm wearing a belt that is a 1/4 inch too tight.... and of course I found the low-cut stuff in a small, but the high cut stuff is really picked through. Damn it!

Ignore me girls, I'm just rambling on in a panic because I have to leave in the morning and don't even have my shit packed... or my hubby's, or my 2 boy's.
    Ahhhh!

I neeeeeed to get off SW!

I don't know how good they are, but the creator of Spanx makes a cheaper version called Assets, available at Target
