    TGI FRIDAY'S.

Couple years ago, husband and I went to eat there, I ordered fajitas and got some ROTTEN meat. I mean horrible, nasty pungent rotten meat. I'll never forget that taste.
I would wake up with nightmares the weeks following, about someone forcing me to eat that meat and tasting that horrible taste in my mouth.
I haven't been able to bring myself to eat at a Friday's since. When I drive by one I can taste that shit in my mouth, I swear it was THAT BAD! I can't explain it....

Also Bally's Total Fitness. They have fucked me on my credit report for $1300 dollars. FUCK THEM.

Ugh, same here. I hate Gold's. Their cancellation policy is total bullshit.

Angry Re: Products or Companies you'll never buy or buy from again

Here in Seattle, I will never again use Yellow Cab.

I was taking a cab home one night and the cab decided it was time to explode.

As it was huffing and puffing and VIOLENTLY shaking like a topless bartender mixing a martini, getting prepared to explode I presume, my driver hopped out of the car in the middle of the street and doesn't bother putting on an emergency brake or even turning the car off, leaving me strapped in the back in total shock. Did I mention the car was poised to head down a steep hill with several cars ahead of it at the bottom of the hill? But, despite the fact that the driver left me no other option than to jump out of a moving car, Yellow Cab offered a miserly apology and nothing else. Not even the threat of legal action was incentive enough to give free fucking cab rides for life or anything. A fucking free ride home from the broken cab after endangering my life would have sufficed. And that's why Yellow Cab will never get another penny out of me.

Best Buy is getting very close in this regard because I'm sick of this transpiring every time I hit the checkout. Target and JC Penney are getting bad at it too:

"Would you like to put this on a [store name here] card."
    "No....."
"Would you like to start one?"
"No, no, no. Just ring up my shit."

Okay, I'm embellishing on that last line, but don't any of you tell me you all haven't thought that when its happened to you.

PC Richards & Sons. We bought my mother in law a new refirgerator from them and had it delivered. She lives in Brooklyn on 3rd floor of an older building and her apartment is railroad style. When the delivery guys got there they took one look at the tight squeeze in the apartment and the 2 flights of stairs and didn't even attempt to bring it up, they just said sorry and drove away.

I will take any opportunity to tell people to avoid Circuit City . After I caught their sales goons trying to scam my mother, I complained to the manager who, instead of apologizing, threw a big, angry tantrum and stomped off, muttering under his breath. I e-mailed and sent letters to their corporate offices about a dozen times, which were all ignored. I filed complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General's office, which resulted in a meaningless form letter. Finally, I found a customer "support" forum buried on their website and tried to get a simple answer from their rep. Not only did he refuse, he sicced other posters on me (obviously his alt. screen name or other CC employees) to bully me out of the forum with bizarre, rambling personal attacks (I was careful to be EXCEEDINGLY polite throughout this). When that didn't work, he promised to send my mother a written letter of apology. Of course, he was lying. I now haunt their forum, and have seen many similar stories.

    Also, HBO, for canceling Deadwood.

Unfortunately retail companies are making selling credit card applications mandatory for sales associates. At Dillard's we are expected to sell four a month (or else...).

It's fucking annoying at best. One of the reasons I'm getting out of the fucking retail 'business' ASAP.

Yes it does. It's greasy and tastes like salt, if I remember right. So no real loss there.

TELSTRA CORPORATION AUSTRALIA. I dont want to explain the whole story as it's very long but it is relation to a mobile (cell) phone service contract that I had with them. I have since learned that many others had similar problems as mine.

I won't buy Sony either, just b/c they go WAY overboard with the whole anti-piracy thing. Like to the point where some of their electronics are rendered useless even for perfectly legal tasks b/c they've got all kinds of anti-piracy encoding in them. What a pain in the ass.

Also, Visa is on my chopping block. Because they're outright dishonest about their interest penalties and fees. As soon as I pay off my balance, I'm keeping the card just long enough to raise my credit score again by paying off some measly 20$ balance each month. As soon as it's back up to where it was, I'm going to take great delight in cancelling it and cutting it up!

Oh, and Bally. B/c I cancelled my membership twice and they still charge me every month. When I call on the phone or go to the gym to talk to someone about it, I get the run-around. This has been going on since March. Never again.

Fast food of any kind (McDonalds, Burger king, taco hell, arby's, you name it.) Just b/c...well...it's fast food. Which isn't really even food. Just toxic chemicals that will make me fat and sick if I eat it. Also, stupid corporate chain restaurants (applebee's, tgifriday's, chili's...ugh! Shitty food in a typical tacky fake depressing American-suburbanite atmosphere...no thanks.)

Curves gym. B/c they give money to anti-choice organizations. Fine if that's what they want, but MY money is not going towards oppressing women!

And finally...American cars. (a.k.a. pieces of crap.)

I ordered a Halloween costume (that I was DYING to have) from them last year.....weeks and weeks went by, so I email them about it, they emailed me back 2 days later "Oh, it's out of stock, sorry we should have informed you" At this point Halloween was that week, so I demanded they refund my money so I could at least go grab something at the store.

They refunded my money, thank god. Seriously though, if something is out of stock then it should be labeled as "OUT OF STOCK" when you go to order it! I went back and looked at the costume again just to see and they still had it listed as available.

FUCK Bally's. Same thing here. The threw my "contract" in my face, and told me that all I could do was pay an interest rate but I couldn't cancel. Long story short they put what I "owed" them for the rest of my membership, $1300, on my credit. Funny thing is it's not even effecting my FICO or anything....my credit didn't get any worse. They'll never get their money. FUCK them.
I lost my job, was totatlly broke....I mean me and my husband could hardly afford grocerys or gas, and I had PROOF. They didn't care. All they could say was "Well, your contract...."
That's some OUTSTANDING custmer service ya'll have there......bastards.

FUCK Applebee's and American cars too

Sprint... I was a long-time, loyal customer until they changed a lot of their policies, esp their customer service. Now I hate them.

AT&T / SBC - they have a monopoly on land lines in my area and my home phone services goes out for two+ days every time we have a big rain. (I live in Houston...)

That's really the beef of my complaint with this whole practice. The big bad corporation has enough gall to make a rank and file employee do their dirty work for them (and consequently take the brunt of the anger from the customers for doing it).

I'd like to see the company bean counters who came up with this brilliant idea of cross selling credit cards in the checkout line, to take their place for a day, and deflect all the angry rejections, or worse. People who take their business to another store because they don't want to endure the ordeal of going through the checkout line don't exactly show up on the balance sheet.

I ordered 10 things. I SPENT THREE HUNDRED dollars on this shit PLUS shipping to Australia.

They were waiting on ONE item to ship me. Apparently, they still are. I kept contacting them and all they told me was they were waiting on this one item. I asked to be refunded everything (since by this time it was EIGHT WEEKS) and they said no, they'd charge a 20% restocking fee. That's $60 of my order... for NOTHING.

I had to buy the SAME shit from other people because I really needed work boots and g-strings and costumes.. so now I'm going to have like 3 of the same thing (at least the boots I can use when my current ones die and spare costumes when you're a showgirl aren't so bad)... but SHIT... I had to buy the same thing TWICE because I never got it ONCE!!

So I wait and I wait and I wait... I got something in JULY to use in OCTOBER and I might not get it in time..wtf is up with that?!

Also ink freezes... so put it in the freezer and then smash it with a hammer. No ink.

Merry Maids. It's a cleaning service in California. The last time I used them, they charged my debit card when I stated clearly it was just to be used as a deposit because I was going to pay for the spring cleaning service w/ cash.

3 hours cost me over $600!!!

I did get that fixed. They were suppose to reimburse me for an overdraft fee I was charged (which of course was their fault) and they never did.

    Never again.

    ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

I have always felt that way about chain restaurants. Perhaps living in San Francisco for so long helped shaped my attitude. That city was so pro-small business for such a long time. It wasn't until recently that you really had to search hard to find a Star<*cks for Denny's.

When I moved to LA, it wasn't so much Santa Monica, where I live, but everywhere else, chain restaurants were just everywhere!! And artists that I met didn't feel ashamed of eating in those shit holes!

I get physically affected in a negative way when I have to walk into one of those places.

    Hertz rent a car.

Charged my CC for 5 days after I returned the car and flew out and a tank of gas. Tied up my CC over $1K, got me charged with over limit fees and interest!

Took four months to get through to someone with enough competence to reverse the charges and then beg them to pay the interest and over limit fees. Only after I faxed many CC's statements and my plane ticket with my seating assignment proving that I actually flew out when I said I did

Actually I did return the car empty of gas as I was in rush to make my flight, but after all the BS and how they didn't even know when I returned the car I threw that in for pain and suffering
