    Default "The Bandit" Fashion Hairpiece

This is something new that I just saw: www.parisandsally.com

I might try the 6" length, it looks cute. I have long hair and this might be a good way to have a short hairstyle when I feel like it, without actually cutting my hair. The site suggests putting long hair in a bun and then putting the headband hairpiece over it. I have no experience with hairpieces, what are some brands you recommend?

Any brand is good, but I recommend if you want to use any kind of extensions use human hair. It makes styling alot easier since with synthetic hair you have to worry about melting and frizz. Human hair is just easier to wash too.

Depending on how long your hair is and how thick it is, it can be REALLY hard to get your hair to look good in a hairpiece.

To give you an idea, my hair is probably 3" longer than the 22" wig on that site and really thick. The only way I can get a hair piece to look decent is to flop it on top of my head try to spread it out evenly and then put a hair net over it to hold it. But girls with thinner/shorter hair can just put on a wig and it looks great!

I think it's attatched to the headband somehow so it's easy to put on. I could be wrong though.

When do those come out? On the website it just says coming soon. I'd love to go to the Sally's by me and pick one up n try it out.

eh i would not purchase it because the fake hair gets ratty so quick
i saw the hair that her other extensions at Sallys were made of.
it will last about a month before its a ratty mess.
id only invest in human hair pieces personally.

I love using good fake ponytails & other super-easy hairpieces, and this is actually totally up my alley. Honestly, my only objection to it is that buying one would give money to Paris flippin' Hilton.
