Has anyone tried these? Apparantly you put them on your feet overnight while you sleep. When you wake up they are appear dirty and are full of toxins? That's what I heard anyway.

they are a gimmick. my health food store used to sell them and the main ingredients are green tea and vinegar. it's just oxidation that you see, not "toxins". You would be better off drinking a lot of water and eating a clean diet... maybe taking a probiotic too.
"Life and death, energy and peace. If I stop today it was still worth it. Even the terrible mistakes that I made and would have unmade if I could. The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul, it was worth it, for having been allowed to walk where I've walked, which was to hell on earth, heaven on earth, back again, into, under, far in between, through it, in it, and above."

yeah I read somewhere that they were a hoax.

Hoax! I don't know any reputable practitioner who uses them. But I know some who'll sell them cuz people are suckers when it comes to "detox"! (I'm not calling anyone here a sucker).

Even the commercials don't make sense. First they're Japanese, then they're Chinese... then apparently I breathe food ("toxins from the food, water and air we breathe") ... then apparently trees draw toxins OUT of their roots? Um? WHAT?! Trees get nutrients from the soil, dipshits.

Yep, it's total shit. I saw it on an investigative show, might've been 20/20 or something.. but they tested the foot pads and proved them to be nothing more of a placebo effect. The pads turn dark when exposed to moisture, so anybody with sweat glands on their feet (everybody) would activate it. But people actually believe that's from the toxins being drawn out of their body when it's not.
