THis is why I don't wear jewelry. Growing up as a pianist(take of bracelets and rings EVERY time) I've had SOOO many pieces go missing. When people are trying to talk to you about what they want done to their hair, or about your performance, its hard to focus and remember that detail of it sitting there.
I can't really say anything but, it was an expensive lesson. Definitely don't wear jewelry to school or work. I hope your boyfriend calms down. I might just try talking to him about it, if he's seriously acting like its an issue. Yeah it was a sweet gift, and its missing, but the REAL gift is your being together two years. He shouldn't be making you feel like crap over an object.
Maybe u can tell ppl and have the story go around...someone might feel guilty and turn them in.
He's just upset because their gone, not at u..i'm sure he will come around. My dad lost his wedding ring 3 times now and u come to realise it's a sign of someone's love and not the actual thing itself. Another time will come when he gives u jewellery again.
Things get stolen all the time, it happens..maybe next time you'll get a wedding ring, that's the 1 that really counts![]()

I left my wedding ring in a tanning bed and poof gone in 60sec. My husband wasn't mad at all, I was suprised. Do you have insurance for your house/apt? They will cover it as a loss if you do, even if it was lost somewhere outside your home.
Yeah. Hubby gave me a gorgeous diamond ring for our 5th anniversary. I mistakenly wore it to a shoot and had to take it and my wedding band off.I put in in the inside zipper part of my purse and put THAT in my suitcase. After the shoot my wedding band was still there (thank GOD!!!) but the diamond was gone.
The bitch I was shooting with got "sick" halfway through and spent like 1/2 an hour in the bathroom(which was right next to where all our stuff was). I found out later that shes a total clepto and stuff has gone missing around her before. She was run out of town not long after.
Hubby is still mad that I lost it. But I didnt really lose it..it was stolen. Either way..it still breaks my heart that its gone. Even if he got me another (which he swears he wont..boo..and we cant afford it now anyway..ALWAYS get your jewlery insured..lesson learned...)it wont ever be the one he handed me the night of our anniversary in the gorgeous hotel in St Augustine.
Sucks.
I would definitely tell your instructor/supervisor what happened and make some fliers or something and post them around. Maybe the guilty party won't come forward but someone else may have seen something or have info to help you get them back.

^^ yeah they covered my wedding ring after a 500 deductible, I called them and told them what happened and they said it's basically theft since it was gone when i went bk to get it. They were real nice about it. I had a yearly membership at that tanning place too, but never went bk b/c i was so pissed , I know exactly who took it, she was the only one working when I was there and i knew it as on the little table..ughh. She lied right to my bawling face, who does that?!

Yep. I know who took mine too and she lied to my face too.Even tried to act all sympathetic that it was gone. Cuntrag.
When you say after a $500 deductible...does that mean if the ring was worth say $2000,that they send me a check for $1500? Or do I have to spend $500 somehow to get anything? And do past filings hurt you? We filed after Wilma and got money, but that was our old homeowners(who stopped servicing customers in FL after Wilma like most...we have the state ins. now which blows, but it was all that was still writing here anymore)

You would get a check for $1500 in that instance. I think it's bad if you file 3 times in like less than 5 years or something. That's the only time we ever had to use ours. We went through State Farm, but im sure companies have different policies.
^^ thanks...I'll try to contact them. It would be nice to have a new ring! (though right now I'd sadly prob use that to pay bills....unless you needed to give them a receipt or something to prove what you spend it on...in which case..diamonds it is!!LOL)
