Do you ever feel like a barbie doll?
You know to over dressed.....or just like too sexy or hot?
Why is it that we feel this is what we have to be ...or want to be...
Do you ever just try to dress down but it doe's seem right or comforable?

Of course I feel like a barbie. I have huge boobs, makeup, long hair. I am a fantasy. As me, CK the dancer it's not about what I WANT or what I LIKE, i'm there to provide a fantasy.
I look TOTALLY different outside of work. Outside of work, I'm me..when it's time to punch the clock and enter work, I become CK.
Anyway, are you a dancer, curious, are are you just doing some research?
Some Douchebag: "[Pimp C] 12:43 am: its true we got to stick together the black people on SW CK you is teh condoleeza of SW"

do you mean when -stripping- or in every day life?
i don't feel the need to be "perfect" when i'm not at work. sure, i have my insecure days (sometimes a few in a row) where i don't want to leave the house without at least a little make-up. but typically i'm make-up-less and dressed down. the only time i get dressed up is if i'm "going out", and then it's more because i want to than because i feel like i "have to".
when i AM at work i can't really say i feel like a barbie doll, but that's because my look is far different from one. i sometimes do feel pressured to get everything "just right" with my hair/make-up/etc ... but that's part of the job.

Once in a while it does get hard for me to seperate myself from dancer me, but I have a habit of working 9-10 days in a row. Just gets to the point of being so used to being there, that I just go in for lack of anything better to do. Im working on that one.

I WISH I felt like a barbie. I see all these girls in my club dressed up SO beautifully and I feel so plain. *pout* But I'm not really sure how to do.
I think I need to read more posts about doing make-up.....
Anyways, when I'm not at the club, I'm myself and dress waaaaay more casual. But I do get tired of trying to dress up all the time at work. It takes me 1.5x longer to get ready.![]()
Some of the best moments in life are the ones you can't tell anyone about.
月にかわって、お仕置きよ!
No. Even though I'm blonde with big boobs..I'm def. not a Barbie Doll...unless theres a bitch barbie!LOL
Outside of work..DEF. not. I'm all about no makeup, sloppy ponytail or bun and jeans/t-shirt or shorts/t-shirt.
I'm so not a fantasy...lol!!
I feel like a Barbie Girl sometimes!
It's so fantastic
Made of plastic![]()
Absolutely, I will have guys yell "barbie" at me when I'm walking out of the grocery store. Big boobs, blonde, and very tall. They don't have much of an imagination when it comes to "pick up lines" Oh and I always try to dress down but it seems to backfire, like the worse I look the more attention I get?![]()
I like to look pretty outside of work. I dont need perfection (or a Barbie look) but a little makeup, hair done and jeans, flats and some earrings or a necklace. One step past casual. I used to wear heels everyday but the only place I really go now is school and the campus is way too big to walk around in heels all day. I do love em tho.

Yes I sort of look doll-like at work. It sells. I have blonde hair, big fake boobs, fake tan, long fake nails, hair extensions and restylane lips. So pretty much yes I feel like a barbie and I like it.
I am very low-maintenance outside of work tho.
There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

I don't feel like a Barbie in and out of work.

No, I've never felt like a Barbie. Nothing about me is fake enough to warrant that comparison. I like to look good, but that doesn't equate to "Barbie" in my mind. You can certainly be an effective stripper without all that craziness.
Check out my new eBay auctions.......

The only way I could even think to compare myself to a Barbie is my fiance's name is Ken.

Nope. I feel like a pixie at work.
Fuck Barbie.![]()
Yep, some nights it works an some nights it doesn't.. Certain clubs I have had to tone it down because I was "intimidating" with the make up.. Others I have had to do anything I can to stand out and be noticed when walking around or an stage. I LOVE rhinestones!
Please don't lick me, it tickles..
As much as I don't like Barbie, it is a point of reference for a lot of people because she is so well known and can be a compliment to some. With that being said, there are so many different versions of Barbie now that extend far beyond the blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty.
I'm Black, Athletic Barbie, because I'm slim, with long hair, and have the french manicured nails. This look works well for me and keeps me within men's general fantasies. I totally get dolled up for work and I hate the maintenance, but it's a job and I pride myself on being flawless, or close to it.
Away from work is a different story. I'm plain jane and generally look like I just rolled out of bed. I'm pretty conservative, always cover up, wear little to no makeup, pull my hair back, and try to blend-in in my everyday affairs as opposed to standing out at work.
I feel empowered to harness a little Barbie here and there, but it's definitely not something I'd want to do 24-7. Outside of work, no one would ever know that I danced and I like to keep it that way...
haha yes...in the club and outside..
tho i dont have the fake boobs, i wear a lot of padding when i go out clubbing..but i have the long blonde hair tho always feel like im wearing too much makeup but i cant get away with only wearing a bit at work or whilst clubbing..i look too washed out.
i love the barbie look..high maintenance but worth it in my opinion.

barbie is a slut.... well at least that's what my little tight blue t-shirt said back in the 90s.
if i could... i.e. blond hair, massive cans etc... fuck yeah, i'd do it, if not just to traumatise as many mere-male-mortals as i could.
that said - i'm more like a bratz doll... (when i get to go overboard on dress-ups, which is practically NEVERRRR anymore)

Sometimes at work I do. I look in the mirror and it almost startles me. I recently switched from redheaded to blonde, so it's still new to me. I look so completely different outside the club.
I always tell my sweetheart I wish they made fake boobs you could snap on and off. I tell him I'd love to have them for work, but I dont want them full time. ;-)
never.

When I make an effort, yes. I got the long hair, boobs, body, and legs down.
