Any suggestions for classical music that's been remixed?
Any suggestions for classical music that's been remixed?
Yes. Avoid it at all costs. Listen to the original as the composer intended.
(Just my humble 2p.)

They all suck that I've heard, except a remix of Stravinski's 'Firebird Suite' that kicks ass.
I forget who did, it I DLed it 4 years ago and put it on a disc and the original file is lost.
Th rest all sounded cheesy to me.

i dunno about remixed stuff, but if you want some awesome up tempo classical stuff to dance to, try a group called 'bond'. there's a few remixes of their songs that are pretty neat, but the originals are freaking awesome.
I love, love, love classical.
I'm trying to find something workable for the club to go with my "Clockwork Orange" theme.
Back to the drawing board!

I agree that most of the remixes are cheesy. The Clockwork soundtrack is cool but I don't see it being very playable, possibly as an intro. You should do "I Wanna Marry A Lighthouse Keeper", LOL. I know I have a remix of two Ludwig Van tracks. Fur Elise, and Beethoven's fifth. Neither are very good, though.

I have played 20 second clips of Mozart to prove what I had been saying all night about whoever the reigning Booty Shaking Queen is, that she could shake her booty to Beethoven. Yeah I know, it's not Beethoven, but I do tell them I did lie about that part, lol.
But the girl has to have a sense of showwomanship or it won't work.

I quite like William Orbit's Barber's Adagio for Strings.

Yeah, I know lots of that music.
BUT what do you mean by "remixed" ?
Re-arranged for a different mix of instruments and spliced together to leave out all the 'boring' parts???
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

Uhhhh... I'm just nixing the whole thing.
I'm just gonna wing it![]()

Well hold on just a minute there, lol.
You should at least try the Firebird Suite remix, I think it's hot. So what if the rest suck? Or most of them anyway. If you find even one song you really like, you win. Actually now that I think of it, I think I have a classics remixed CD that had one more that was interesting, I will look for it.

^Do you mean "O Fortuna" by Apotheosis? It's the one with the bits from Orff's "Carmina Burana" that have been used in tons of tunes. It was crazy out of print for awhile. I have the vinyl, cuz I'm old, but god bless the digital age.
