Default finding the right bra (34-DD)

A question to my fellow big-breasted ladies-

I am surgically-enhanced 34-DD and I'm having a hard time finding a bra that is comfortable. I usually go to Victoria's Secret, their two most comfortable options are the IPEX, which I am a little too big for, and Body, which I don't quite fill out. Macy's doesn't carry my size, honestly I haven't really checked out any other stores.

Any suggestions? I don't really care how the bra looks (I'm single), just as long as it's comfortable.

    Have you tried Nordstroms?
I went there after my boob job and was fitted for some great bras (DKNY, Donna Karan (sports bra-- AMAZING), Chantelle) all ranging from 34DD to 34DDD/F. It wasn't cheap but it was worth it. I haven't even tried to shop at places like VS or Fredrick's since then. I don't like any of their styles at all and I've head nothing but negative reviews from smaller-framed/bigger-bust women on how they fit. I tried Macy's too but they just don't have a big enough variety of designers.
    Good luck!

    Fuck Macy's.

Nordstrom stores tend to carry a wider variety of bra sizes. They have people who can measure you... you might be surprised. Seriously.

I went to Victoria's Secret and was told I was a 34-DD/E. Tried on the bras... they didn't fit. I went to Nordstrom and got measured... the verdict was 32-FF and what do you know.... that FIT!

I lost a bit of weight since then. Now I am a 30-FF and I shop on Fig Leaves http://www.figleaves.com/us/home.asp

Also, Le Mystere No. 9 bras are supposed to be good for the surgically enhanced boobage. They were designed for gals with implants.

But yeah.... step #1 should be checking out your local Nordstom or specialty bra shop to get the perfect measurement.

If you're ever in NYC check out Town Shop http://www.townshop.com/ they are amazing with sizing and selection.

    Hope that helps!

You can also try different sizes, don't be stuck on a particular size because that's what you were fitted as. I am a 32DD but I like to wear 34Cs or Ds.

OMG I so heart you for recommending this!!

I'm a 36DD and can NEVER find cute bras that fit. Usually, I just wear 36D's and deal with major boob-overflow in the front part of the bra (my nipples pop out of them regularly). I always have to pull them up just so you can't see the overflow through shirts.

Yesterday I went to Nordstroms in Jersey and they had SUCH a good selection of bras in huge sizes. They even had G's! (i wish haha)

AND GUESS WHAT LADIES!??! THEY WEREN'T FRUMPY!!!!!

this is what I got in a 36DD in red

Its seriously the best bra ever. I can't wait to go back in a few weeks and buy so many more!!!!!!

I'm not surgically enhanced but I find that a lot of women wearing a larger band and smaller cup than they are. I wore an uncomfortable 36A for years until I learned I was actually a 34B.

    Good luck.

I read that more than half of us wear the wrong size.

I thought I was 36 DD for the longest time, then went to a bra boutique where the girl fitted me (you should have see her face, I'm 5'2") and it turns out I'm 34 FF, which is even harder to find!

I've hunted online and here are a few places to check...
    (including larger sizes)

    And for fun

    Just a quick post-script...

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR RECOMMENDING NORDSTROMS! I went immediately after reading the suggestions, got measured, and sure enough I am not a 34-DD but a 32-DDD/F! I tried on a bunch of beautiful bras and ended up purchasing four. I am so satisfied! I can't believe what a difference it makes to be wearing a bra that fits perfectly, and is cute and sexy to boot!

I will never set foot in Victoria's Secret again, at least not for bras.

All thanks to the ladies here at SW I am forever greatful!

I hate Victoria's Secret. It's total vanity sizing. I swear their D's are C's and their C's are B's. I also think they label their bands smaller. Basically they want you think you're skinnier and bustier than you really are.
