Default stripper dresses in teh mainstream

it seems that all the dresses on 'dancing with the stars', as well as many of the red carpet frocks are... old skool stripper dresses.

since when did they become mainstream fashion?

i'm looking at emmy pics and even elaine from seinfeld has a tiny piece cut out...

remember when all stripper dresses seemed to have bits cut out?

this is a 'ballroom competition dress' apparently

call me old-fashioned, but that dress screams a whole lot of stripper.

    thoughts?

I think the fashion "world" is getting sexier in general. I keep thinking I see prostitutes in the weirdest places (like a could-e-sac), and its really just trendy girls, lol!!!!

haha, we had a girl come in last night and she was all dolled up wearing a tiny dress... and I thought to myself 'hehe it looks like she wants to work here' .. then i saw her shoes and they were the same as mine! I got all confused. But it turned out she was just a customer. Then someone told me that 'those kinda of shoes' were 'so hot right now'. I LOL'd.

Chicks in the bars are often less dressed than I am in the club!

I see so many girls wearing a long shirts as dresses.

Yeah, but ballroom costumes and ice skating uniforms and such are meant to show the movement of the body. I wouldn't call thewm mainstream as they have always been showy and revealing.

If anything, I think that the strippper world got it's cues from ballroom dance and ice skating costumes.

I just found out Brooke Burke is on Dancing w/ Stars. I've idolized her like forever.

She used to be a model for Flirt catalog! That's when my crush on her started 10 years ago when she was modeling for Flirt and Carushka. She's come a long way.

The Dlisted blog always talks about some woman named Shauna Sand who wears stripper heels ALL the time. I can't imagine ever wearing lucite platforms anywhere but the strip club.

Here's the dumb bitch and her friend wearing stripper dresses and heels:

I shouldn't feel embarrassed for them but I do. These are the types of people who think other women "hate" on them. But NO. That's not the case.
