I'm no expert, but I think they might be maggots, which are fly larva. Google it.

PHOBIA right there
I really should have trusted my judgemnet and not clicked on that link, it's put me right off my chocolate bar.![]()
Ewwwww.... if it looks gross, it must be killed!

I am not squishing that!

Hairspray + lighter FTW
^^^![]()

That would mean I have to move it, it's on a plant, my mom thought it was having babies so I put it on a plant! I didn't' touch it though, looked too gross. There are more on my tomato plants![]()

Oh thank you Sirona, I know it's a bug but still I really do not wan tit to suffer much, maybe it's in pain, well I bet it is already, this can't be pleasant! so putting it out of it's misery would be good.
Ewwww, seal that container before you put it near your food.
And yeah, killing that worm would be doing it a favor.

Well hubby isn't gonna be thrilled about this cause he saw the picture and said "WTF?" so I think he wants to kill it himself. What a horrid little wasp! Can they do this to humans?
Please, just smash it or something. Who cares if it feels "pain", it's a larva. You can use a stick if you don't want to touch it. But just kill it please.

OMFG that is nasty. I wouldn't want to squish it either but would get some boy to do it. I'm sure there's some one who's ready and willing to take it off your hands.
+ 2 for the freezer. This is how I kill things when I have to (when I find mice who are dying of poison or something). Learned that it is just like going to sleep as your organs shut down. We were taught this in the vet hospitals I worked with

Is it on your tomato plants? Perhaps you want to let it 'live' so that you can have more wasps that will kill your tomato-plant-pests. Seriously, which do you care more about? Your tomato plants, or the bugs that are destroying your tomato plants?

well winter is coming and I don't think the tomato plants will do more, this is the first time we plant a garden, we got green beans, carrots, green and red peppers, jalapenos, lettuce, potatoes, some herbs and cat nip, we had a great harvest.

Very nice. But if you plan on having tomatos next year, you might consider doing whatever you can to get rid of your tomato-destroying worms, including helping out these wasps.

hmm well then this has become very interesting, first I had no idea wth it was and now that I do know it has become part of the next years harvest. Wow cool! thanks.
