    Default Hair rollers

I want to try hair rollers but I have a few questions before I go out and buy some:

    - should I get hot rollers or the ones u don't have to heat? I dont want to cause much damage to my hair

    - how exactly do u use them?? yes I need instructions as I'm hopeless with hair

    - after washing hair do u just dry it off with hairdryer or do u have to blow wave it first?

I want a wavy but not curly look.

For wavy hair you want to get larger rollers. I personally use the velvet hot rollers because they don't "stick" to my hair. Some people like the velcro ones you can just put in your hair when it's damp or wet and remove once your hair is dry. But I don't like the way they "stick" in my hair if you know what I mean.

Thanks! I have microlink extensions so I dont want anything sticking either coz it might tangle the hair.

Do the hot ones cause damage like straighteners do? I would only be using it for work once or twice a week.

I like hot rollers. Velcro is too cumbersome in my opinion, I'd rather use a blowdryer and a round brush, but even that's too much work for me lol. I like hot rollers. If you get the ionic ones I think they're the least damaging.

Definitely get hot rollers. If you want more defined curls use more product, and for looser ones use less. Play around with them and see what works for you. Everyone's hair reacts a little differently, but hot rollers are def. the way to go.

I don't think they do at all. They don't get nearly as hot as flat irons do and the surface is covered with velvet (our at least the set I own is anyway). The newer sets though heat up fairly quick so I'd just keep an eye on them, don't let them get so hot that you can't touch the roller itself. I use to put them in my hair when I had extensions. I had the fusion bond ones by Mega Hair which is similiar to Great Lengths. I use to roll my hair a couple times a week when I danced.
