Default How to pursuade people unconciously!

I found this little gem on my google homepage this morning..

    http://www.wikihow.com/Persuade-Peop...ous-Techniques

seems to be a lot of stuff I already knew, but there are also some new things! For example, there is the idea about a dog's picture. I figured, since it would be weird to carry around a picture of a dog, why not mention a pet dog? Maybe it will work, maybe not, but even if it brings in an extra 3 or 4 bucks, it's worth it in the long run!

edit: that should be *subconsciously* I wrote this the first thing this morning, so my brain was obviously not awake yet.

So I was reading this and I was wondering what some emotionally charged words could be used for strippers when 'framing'. Any ideas because I'm clueless?

I can help here because I worked with a deranged crackhead that tried to use framing (however, it was not effective when she made no sense.) This is where I first noticed this hustle technique.

The KEY is working it into conversations. People who are adept at "reading" a conversation/person/situation can do this easily. You have to practice.

For example- I had a customer who was very into my look and said he loved Latin women and had just had a vacation in Latin America. (CLUE.) So I started talking about that with him. I started using "flirty" body language. (SUBTLE.) I steered the conversation in the direction of sexuality. (NOT SO SUBTLE.) Voila, a VIP.

That was an easy one. As time goes on, you'll become better at using these techniques.

Emotionally charged words- use tactile (touch) words, or words that straddle visuals that trigger the desire to touch. For example- curve, soft, hot, wet, smooth.

If you sense the customer is seeking a more emotional connection, use phrases like: I feel the same way. I agree. Use words like hold, kind, love, relate, etc.

I really wish I had learned about this sooner, it would have helped me immeasurably.

    Hey Bianca,

Sounds good. I am having a problem being flirtatious with men and usually don't know what to say. I guess the real problem I have is sounding sincere in my advances. I don't want to sound like I have been rehearsing that line over and over. Now, you said that you steered the conversation to a sexual topic. May I ask how and what did you say?

Keep in mind the proper delivery of the wording is key- it's the "acting" part of selling your dance.

I said, "Latinas are raised to take care of their men, the man's pleasure is very important. The women also keep themselves very soft and sensual so their men can enjoy them in all senses. In fact, I am very submissive in bed......"

I said this with soft eyes (think Natalie Wood's acting) and gentle body language. That's what the customer was looking for......

Obviously this would not work if you had a sexually submissive man who wants a cold, regal looking woman who treats him and his desires dismissively.

Scarcity. Scarcity is frequently used by advertisers to make opportunities seem more appealing because they have limited availability. The assumption is that if a product is scarce, there must be a ton of demand for it! (Buy one now because they're selling out fast). Be aware that this is a method of persuasion to which you are frequently exposed and take it into account when you make your purchase decision.
^this is precisely why it drives me -bonkers- when the manager insists we all be "visible" all the time or that we "sit at the bar".

    when it's slow/i'm not busy...

i move around -constantly. i talk to the door girl, i walk to the candy jar, i stop by the dj booth, i play the game for a few minutes, i chat with the bartender for a few minutes, etc.

the manager says this makes me look too "busy"

    and i'm like "EXACTLY".

i rarely make any money if i'm sitting and staring off into space.
