I never know what to say to this:
*standard introductions*
Me: You don't mind if I sit down, do you?
Custie: No, go ahead.
Me: So what brought you into the club today, John?
Custie: I just dropped in for a beer.
I figure i can ignore it or address it.
Should I just ignore and say something like "I see, have you been here before?"
What I want to do is say something to imply he is not a fun/adventurous guy so as to challenge him. Something like (but hopefully less rude-sounding): "Yeah I figured. You don't seem like the adventurous type." Then a minute later......... "Let's go get into some trouble in the back."
Any suggestions on how to deal with this?
