    Default Feeling Isolated

Does anyone else feel this way? I feel sad and lonely and I know its my own fault for isolating myself too much. I go threw phases where I feel I don't need anyone but obviously as human beings we wern't meant to be alone.

Sorry for the rant, hopefully this is just PMS talking.

I feel this way a lot. For my own reasons, of course, but I think that feeling inside is the same. *hugs*

You might be an introvert. I am. I prefer being alone much of the time, but even introverts need some human contact. Introverts tend to do best when they have a small number of very close friends. Unfortunately to find those it does mean you can't completely isolate yourself. Catch-22.

Maybe try SW chat? It could fill the need for some human interaction while leaving you the option to log off or skip it any nights you want to be alone.

I'm right there with you.The hardest part is trying to come out of isolation after being there for months.

Most days I feel like I'm fading from the inside out.

    Candice:

Thanks for coming out of isolation and posting the "Felonious Flatulence" thread. IMO, humor can be very healing, especially when it's shared with others...

P.S. Is that Cindy Brady in your avatar?

I do this too. My SO is not this way so it makes me feel even more isolated and pathetic when I see everyone else having a good time and I'm inside doing nothing.

I agree humor can be very healing and so whenever I'm feeling down I try to watch a comedy. And no it isn't Cindy Brady in my avatar, it's Nelly Olson from Little House on the Prarie. That bratty character always made me laugh.

BTW thank you to everyone that posted on this thread. It's nice to hear I'm not alone in my feelings.

With the job that we all do, dancing, and the stresses of everyday life, its really hard sometimes to stop yourself from just hiding under the sheets and stay in bed all day.

My wine fest is over. I'm up REALLY early this morning so I think I'll run to the gym and start working on gettting myself out of this funk. Thanks again everyone for all your posts. Its amazing how just a few kind words from people I've never met can make me feel so much better.

Agreed. Her naughtiness was hilarious! Although as a kid all I wanted was for her to leave poor Laura alone. LOL
