    Default Rubbish Dinners

I've been working all day and I'm shattered. I rolled in the house at 9.30pm after working since 10am and I'm soooo sleepy. I wanted to order pizza but I'm too poor and I'm kinda on a diet.

All I had in the kitchen was a tin of soup and a loaf of bread which was really at its freshest the day before yesterday. It wasn't very tasty but I'm tired, hungry and poor. Has anyone else had a rubbish dinner recently?

right before i moved to florida i didnt want to go to the grocery store to get food because i was saving money. i had frozen chicken breasts, pasta, cream of mushroom soup and canned green beans galore already. i ate the same thing for like 4 nights in a row just to save money...

my ex and I used to buy rice, beans and frozen veggies in bulk and throw it all in a stir fry and eat it every night of the week when we were not into spending a lot on food.

I know i'm not alone here when i say that when we were really broke, the hubby & i used to live off of Top Ramen. I shudder every time i see it in the grocery store now, i think i've had enough of it to last me a lifetime.

Tonights rubbish dinner was even more rubbish than last nights. I had a crisp sandwich, (I think you guys call crisps potato chips.) It actually tasted pretty good.

I had 2 mini packets of Oyster Crackers for dinner last night!

I had guest from out of state and they wanted Lobster. Unfortunately, the place we went to had an allergy warning at the bottom of the menu basically stating that everything in the kitchen has come in contact with shellfish... and I'm allergic.

Every night for dinner, my boyfriend has a bowl of iceberg lettuce with ranch and a can of tuna and/or instant ramen. Snack later is usually chips or pretzels. Lol, I've given up trying to talk him out of it.

I don't know how you guys can do that. if I don't eat at least two balanced meals daily, my body gets very angry. it takes a lot to run my body.

I eat a lot of rubbish dinners when I'm on the road! I'm usually too tired to make a real dinner and/or I dont have a kitchen available to me. I lose weight when I travel a lot because of this!

Rice, beans and salsa are rubbish? No way! That's some top notch gourmet, right there. Add some day(s)-old rotisserie chicken and that's what I eat most nights ... if it's not Popeye's or pizza... and if I eat.

Wow, I think I just depressed myself.
