Default This election is a ridiculous farce.

More so than typical in my opinion. I'm fed up with everyone and everything. All of the candidates, including Ron Paul. The media who has played the favorite game the whole time (not just for Obama), and the American people who have let themselves become so clouded on the issues that there not even listening to anything anymore, plus the people sling so much mud the politicians don't even have to.

I'll still vote, but if all the of them died in plane crashes next week, and a Cocker-Spaniel became the front runner, I'd be happier.

You can't fault people for being ready for the Bush Administration to end...I mean come on?

There are going to be so many parties on January 20....I've all ready seen invites.

I'll cast my vote on November 4 based on the issues and I don't think I have become clouded at all.

Don't wish for people to die in a plane wreck because you don't seem to be getting your way.

^^^You are so pathetically overconfident. Most polls still show things as being a toss up. People are clouded on the Bush administration. You are obvioulsy clouded.

I got my way months ago when Hillary Clinton didn't get the nomination.

Because I'm confident in my choice for President I'm pathetic?

Grow the hell up...maybe if Republicans weren't so NASTY to begin with, more people would support the party.

By the way...you do know that most polls are coming from likey voters based on last elections....I'd bet money the are OFF BIG TIME...and not in McCain's favor.

I agree with the OP but we have to deal with what is available.

I don't even discuss the election with anyone because the conversations go off on weird tangents- this is probably one of the most bizarre elections ever.

The most telling thing about this year is the average American is too stressed out and freaked out by the current state of affairs in the US to notice how wacky the election is.......Imagine an alternate America, 2008 where no 9-11 ever happened and George W. Bush never got re-elected. Would these canidates be up for consideration?

I am sick and damn tired of everyone holding their noses and voting for the lesser of two evils. For the first time ever (not counting this year's primary a few months back), I will stride confidently into the voting booth and cast my ballot for a candidate I believe in. Ron Paul may not win the presidency, but at least I won't be disgusted with myself.

It's a beautiful feeling, Americans. You don't really have to eat the pap they serve you.

I'm not clouded on JACK SQUAT in my decisions....can I buy you a ticket to Iraq? I will. Can I buy you a ticket to go find the 3 lost oil platforms from Hurricane Ike and Gustav....I will....you can clean up the mess too. Can I buy you a ticket to go visit my brother so you can look him in the eye with your PISS POOR Republican attitude and tell him why the Republican Party discriminates against him because they are owned by the Religious Right...I will.

I have every RIGHT to be excited about Barack Obama winning the election. Don't get mad at Liberals either...get mad at your own party.

Voting for Ron Paul will put the republicans back in office. I'm voting for the candidate *I* believe in, Barack Obama.

That man made me feel HOPE for the american political system after years of cynicism.

Yep. To me, pathetic is voting one again for a Republican. This time they'll do the right thing, right? This time they are telling the truth and they do have our best interests at heart, right?

HA! Yeah, that's why they are trying to create a bail out that WE have to pay for, but we can't ask any questions or pose any reviews. If you want 4 more years of that shit, McCain is your man.

Most polls? Where are you getting your info? Faux News or Rush Limbaugh?

All of the respected polling organizations show Obama leading by at least 2 points over all and as much as 14 points on the economy.

Besides, polls mean nothing at the moment. The poll is good for 24 hours at the most.

i'm voting chuck norris for presidet, he doesn't need weapons just roundhouse kicks....you aren't required to vote for obama or mccain, there is such a thing as writing someone in on the ballet. and even though you arent supporting mccain or obama you are still doing your part by voting and expressing who you want to be in office :-)

Yes! I feel the same way....finally! I think this is thanks to the internet that the American people see that they are being manipulated and won't put up with the crap anymore.

Now, we can research our candidates and make a decision based on facts and not just 15 second commercials and 3 debates.

I think Ron Paul is going to make a good showing here in Oregon. He is a thoughtful guy who means what he says. He is consistent on his conservatism and votes in congress the way he campaigns to run the country.

Hell, I gave Ron Paul money. I did it because I thought all the other Republican candidates were incompetent hacks. WYSIWYG with Paul and that is something I wanted to support even if I disagreed with a lot of his politics.

The high school I went to had a bomb shelter built into it. People were terrified that the Soviet Union was going to bomb us back into the stone age.

You know what? This election is not a farce. It is a hilarious sitcom. This is more entertaining than anything a Hollywood writer can make up.

A young black guy beats out the almost 100% sure thing to claim victory as the Democratic candidate

An old white guy comes from behind (WAAAAYYYYYY behind) for victory as the Republican candidate

The Democrats become divided and people wonder if they will be able to pull themselves together

Meanwhile the Republicans aren't very enthusiastic for their own candidate and there are worries that voter turnout will be low.

The race is one of the closest in history until things go hilariously awry: the Biden pick complete with gaffes galore, the Palin pick which involves excessive cloistering, misinformation and scandals all in a few weeks, and now the "campaign suspension".

I wake up every morning looking for the next WTF moment. So far I have not been disappointed. This is certainly going down in the history books as one of the strangest presidential elections in history. We definitely have a story to tell our children!

I don't watch Fox and can't stand Limbaugh. I love all the people who think I'm some huge Republican, just because I look past what the media puts out and actually use some logic.

For the record, I'm a registered independent and the only candidate I've voted for of those left is Sen. Obama.

You pathetic because you so confident that your choice will win, when things still look like a toss-up.

Oh give me a break....I have confidence that America will make the right choice. I will take that over being a bitter, nasty, selfish, Republican ANYTIME.

You know what's weird, I was going to vote for McCain (I'm a "hawk") but I kept having dreams about Obama. (NO, not those kind of dreams.) It's like my subconscious was telling me, vote for Obama.

Then McCain picked Palin & I was like, Fuck NOOOOOOO! Palin is probably the dumbest choice ever. Her gender is ZERO issue compared to her lack of qualifications plus her kid getting knocked up. JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMO there are better canidates out there but they'd rather make more money working for corporate entities doing a less stressful job than Commander in Chief.

No, I'm a frickin' retard, obviously. A margin of error of 4% with any poll is useless, BTW. That is why I added the caveat of "respected" to my post.
