    Default hit a little snag

So I'm finally back here and FINALLY deciding to go for it. I found a club that I am interested in, but it is a club/bar, so you need to be 21 to work unless you have permission. Well no problem right? Oh wait. You also need this written permission notarized. I am 20 and there is no way I'm going to say shit to my family. So I got my older sister to notarize some random document and told her it was for school...

Is there any way to fake this kind of permission slip? I have my sister's signature with the notary stamp, but it is cut out of the document she signed (because I guess she didn't want to buy a big envelope? haha). I reallyy want to start working in this place. I just want to get some advice if you guys think it's worth a try. The manager basically told me that he didn't care who signed it as long as it looks like it's my parents so the club doesn't get in trouble. Sketchy, but hey I'm up for it!

Whoa what kind of crap is that? If they ask me for a "permission slip" from my family, they can shove that right back up where they got the idea from! Haha- whatever happened to being 18 and having RIGHTS?

ok. the fact that your manager would actually openly tell you to do something illegal like this shows the kind of club he's running. To me, stripping is a risky business and I don't want to knowingly put myself in danger so if I see a sketchy place, I stay away.... so I can only advise you to do the same.
If you're 20 you've only got one more year(or maybe a few more months?) to go... so why not wait to work somewhere else that takes the law a little more seriously?

are there any other clubs around? cause thats the craziest thing i've ever heard
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?

Yeah, I haven't heard "permission slip" since middle school...Something just doesn't sound right about that club

Ok I've already thought about that and I appreciate the feedback... but this is the club I'm going to regardless. I just wanted some advice on what I asked. A lot of the clubs around here actually have the same law. If you are not 21, you can't work some places unless your parents sign a form saying you can. I don't know why it's like that, but it is. The only thing sketchy about this club is that the guy said *cough* sister instead of parents. But this was because I asked if an older sibling would be ok instead of parents because my parents live far away. He's a very professional guy managing a very professional club, I just know he's not so much into the technical aspect of the form so much as just getting a form in general.

If you don't have any suggestions on how to get this done, that's fine. But please don't pass judgments on where I want to work. I apologize if I made the place sound really under the table.

Where are you located, because I danced all over the place way before I was 21 and nobody ever said anything about permission slips or anything crazy like that. I'm sorry, but that's just fucking weird.

I know that's the point of a notary. The point I'm making is that I want to get around having my sister sign something that I don't want her to know about. I'm not saying it's possible... just wanted some advice.

And the law in this state is that if you have to be 21 to get in the club, you have to be 21 to dance there unless you have a guardian give written permission.

Thanks anyway guys. I appreciate the effort! It's too good to be true lol.

honestly, this isn't making any sense and you should think twice. Once you are eighteen you are an adult. The drinking age/working in a club age doesnt mean shit in so much as you're parents can't sign a "note" to get you out of it. You are over 18, you are an adult. Run, run like the wind away from this place!

    +1

The clubs where I live you have to be 21+ to be a customer but 18+ to dance. You dont need a permission slip. You are an adult. There is something wrong with this whole thing. You need to ask some questions because Ive never heard of that before.

    Where are you located?
