    Default House Republicans Blocking Bailout

    Bob Cox reporting from SW.
    9-26-08

WASHINGTON: Hey, what do you know, the Republicans are acting a little bit conservative by opposing the 700 billion dollar boondoggle for Wall Street.

The Republicans realized that the public hates their fuckin' guts because they've spent and borrowed the U.S. into bankruptcy. Most Americans think Republicans and dog shit are synonymous. By opposing this deal, the GOP hopes to restore some credibility with their base.

By blocking this deal, the Republicans are FINALLY acting in the U.S. public interests instead of for millionaires and billionaires. This will be a first for most Republicans. The Republicans are so use to fucking their base that acting in their base's interests seems weird to many GOP members.

The Democrats wanted to add restrictions on the bailout money which included: Wall Street tycoons must be limited to 2 corporate jets instead of 3. Tycoons must reduce their home staff to 2 maids, 1 gardner and 1 chauffeur. Bonuses will be limited to 100 million dollars per year. Wall Street Tycoons will be limited to 2 human sacrifices per year instead of 5, and the organs of the sacrificed must be donated to a local hospital for transplants.

It is hoped that the House Republicans will totally block this bailout and restore some shred of credibility with their base. Only time will tell.

Actually the Bailout helps the common man much more than the rich guys

    * The rich guys can always wait out this mess, even if US suffer through depression. They can buy great assets literally at 10 cents on the dollar
    * The rich guys can always move to any country they chose to leaving the average joe to deal with the mess created by non-bailout meltdown

Then why is the public overwhelming against the bailout (90% against) and most of the sharks on Wall Street are all for it? You mean the Wall Street tycoons are looking out for John Q. Public now? Wow, that's really nice of them.

Don't fall for the scare tactics of Bush and the sharks. Remember, they scared the public into invading Iraq and it all turned out to be BS. I have 2 friends who just bought houses in the last 3 months. Banks are giving loans if you have good credit. Don't believe Bush's lies.

It's illegal and immoral for the government to steal from future generations (borrowed money) to pay for someone else's greed and incompetence.

My bet is that any sort of bailout won't actually solve any problems. Notthat anyone has actually been told the details yet.
