    Colors

I'm not sure if someone has already posted something similar or not. Anyway, I couldn't find anything.

I was browsing outfits online last night, and my girlfriend started arguing with me that I was choosing the wrong colors.

Like, is it true that guys prefer pastels? I'm really pale, but I usually wear black or red.

Do any of you find certain colors make you more appealing to custies? I've read that men find blue "irresistible", but I really don't buy it.

You're pale, I think you should pick colors that compliment your skin color. I like emerald green on pale skin, I also like blacks.

I personally think pastels would wash you out.

I think we have some threads on this..I'll try to find it for you.

I get confused on this subject as well. I have a hard time figuring out my season, if i go by the rules I think maybe Im an Autumn. But I look awful in those colors. I look best in pastels, black and green so am i really a summer? Im clueless.
I used to buy colors I really liked and didn't think about how it looked on me, and one day I realised I couldn't do that (like buying skinny jeans when you have my thighs and hips). So now I stay away from tourquise, garnets, oranges, etc. Im kinda blabbing b/c really this subject is confusing to me. Regardless of what guys like, you have to buy what looks good on you.

White, neon, red, pink, & black are all good colors IMHO. Girls that wear white & neon are easy to see in the club, men are visual creatures. I always tell girls if you want to make money wear white.

Yeah, I hate those seasonal color classifications. I have golden hair and green-gold eyes, but my skin is really cool (chalk white..). Its like my complexion doesnt match with the rest of me.

I never liked the seasonal classifications either.

My advice is to just wear what looks great on you. White is great for getting attention - but i personally never wear it becaue I'll always feel it makes me look fat.

    Agreed.

I'm very pale and green really works for me. I've found I don't do so well in pink or orange. Red is good, along with black and white. Never tried blue by itself though. If I ever wear blue its usually with some green. And mostly I wear normal to neon colors. Pastels on my white skin just don't look good ITC.

I didn't read this before. You sound like me! Except I dye my hair dark brown. When I had my natural hair color (dirty/golden blonde) I used to wear a lot of red. IRL not ITC though. But it seemed to bring out any warm tones I had in my skin so I didn't look so pale. I still think a dark green would look great too!

I agree about wearing colors that look good on you. You'll be more confident that way and that is they key to making money.

I'd like to hear more about blue being appealing to men though since most any shade of it is one of my best colors.

When choosing colors for the club, you need to consider the lighting and what will make you most visible. Lot's of clubs have black lights that can make neon's and white make you pop out visually. High contrast also is eye catching, so if you have pale skin rich jewel color could be your ticket if your club is not to dark. If your club is very dark having colors that you can see in those conditions maybe more important than ones that compliment your skin tone especially if what little light you have is coming from colored lights.

I like neon and it seems to work best on younger girls, if you are older I would steer clear. Also black is a good one and so is white but don't follow any dumb rules, wear what you look best in.
