    Default Newbie dancer here

Hay ladies new dancer I have been at the club for about 3 weeks. THe first few nights were horrible and I still am not totally comfortable dancing nude yet. How long will I feel this way?

Is it because after a failed marriage and debt that I went to this in my 30's and it is harder to adjust? By the way my avatar is my great dane who keeps me company and intimidation since I live alone now.

Hi there. First off, your dane is gorgeous. I miss mine so effing bad.

And now down to business....do you just not like being nude or do you not like everything in general? I had a hard time adjusting to nude from topless when I made the switch, but I got used to it pretty quickly. If you just don't like the enviroment in general maybe try a different club? This job isn't for everybody, but if you've done it for more than a month or two and still aren't comfy, it may not be the job for you.

Maybe try a topless club to start with and just take things slow. Stay in control of your bounderies and if any customers try to push your limits let them know you are uncomfortable.Stripping can be a lot of fun even though being a newbie was stressful for most.

Gingerlee, you had a dane? great dogs. Thanks for all of the responses, I especially like the advice of not letting customers push me around. Lots of guys are there all the time and noticed right away I was new and tried some shit. Uggh, I will just start snaping on the creeps.

How do you do this and still get them to tip?

I'm also new to dancing and I haven't decided whether or not its the job for me.

I love dancing and the money is great but my mom will kill me if she finds out

I know its my life and i'm in charge of it but i dont want her to be disappointed, any of you girls ever had similar issues?

Don't make the drink a habit - using alcohol to help you dance is never a good thing - that way dependency lies!

Learn as much as you can from the other dancers, befriend them a little so that you are comfortable in your environment. That way you will feel more confident and comfortable and be more authoritative with customers - remember, they are in your environment and they must abide by your rules, you are not obliged to put up with their crap and can refuse to dance or speak with them at your discretion. So if a customer tries to touch you or grab you be polite but firm and tell them no touching means exactly that and "if you do that again i'll have to stop dancing for you and i wouldn't want to do that because we're having so much fun".

Some people will just never be comfortable with the job, and if you're not then don't force yourself, get a regular waitress or bar job and save yourself the stress.

    Beautiful dog btw!
