I was really struggling getting in my exercise.
With my weird schedule (work, full-time university student, life in general), I was having a hard time getting to the gym.
I was sleeping/working through the day, and when I finally had time to workout (late), the gym was closed, and this area isn't safe enough for running outside late. My campus apartment is way too tiny to fit any major equipment, so that was out too.
Well, a friend recommended a "mini-bike". Wal-Mart had one cheap, so I picked it up, and I LOVE it.![]()
It's basically just pedals, and it pretty much puts you in the same position as a stationary bike.
It's awesome; it fits under my desk, so I pedal away while reading for classes, typing papers, surfing the net, watching TV...
The weight has MELTED off. I'm sure I'm not working as hard as I do when I'm at the gym, but because I do this during a lot of my daily activities, I end up pedaling for HOURS, without even realizing I'm exercising!
