    Default Sayin' "I love you"

Have you ever told a customer/regular you love them just to get them to come back? This just happened to me and it seems pretty shitty. I, of course, don't buy it after reading the posts on this site and can see it for the SS that it is. For instance, She followed up her "love confession" with some nonsense about how she wants to marry me, but "can't right now as she has to get clear of her debts before she feels comfortable getting together". Good lord, how dumb do you all think we are?

I get the flirt for money thing (this is why I go to Strip clubs). I even understand the promise of sex being hung out there as a lure for certain guys, but to say you love someone seems kinda cruel even by Strip club standards. Just curious how prevalent this is.

    i didn't, and i don't think I could with a straight face anyway
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?

I'd be surprised if 100% of those polled don't vote no. Which can only mean one thing... you're special Steve123.

And you are too. Short bus special.

I never said I felt special, Bob. I just said I was curious if any other dancers on this site had used such a slimy way of getting customers to come back. It is precisely because I don't think that she thinks I am special that I ask the question.

Thanks for the insightful response, bob.

I've never said it and tried to make it sound seriouse. More like, "I freaking love your ass! Thanks, dude!" After a good tip or drink or whatev.

You're reading way too much into it.

    True.

She gives the best LD ever and her persona is generally cool to talk to except for the this little "quirk". Anywho.

I actually know a girl who does this, she throws that around like nothing. But she's blonde and ditzy so I guess it works for her.

no, and when a customer tells -me- that, i stop dancing for him.

*edit* wait... i think i've said it to really good regulars before, but in obvious "jest" like "OMG I LOVE YOU! YOU'RE AWESOME!!!!! when i've received a gift or large tip.

but i've never said it in a serious way or a way that would cause a customer to think i meant it on a deeper level than friendship.

I've never said it in a serious way..but either like Penny describes or in a joking/affectionate "love ya...kisses" way. I've never said it in any way that would make a custie think I ACTUALLY loved them.

I didnt vote because of that

lol no and i never would.

i've only said it to people who i do love and i wouldn't use the term in order to get money. plus it sounds like a great way to encourage obsessed stalking behaviour from a reg.

Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.

You say you can "see it for the SS that it is," yet it's obviously affected you enough to ask about it on a stripper board. From your response to hb, I doubt your motive for posting your question was merely to satisfy your curiosity. Rather, you're hoping someone will answer yes so you'll have that little sliver of hope that maybe... just maybe there's a chance. Of course if you don't get that here, then you at the very least get confirmation of what you think is the right response to that line.

This is basically a "Falling for my ATF. Does she really like me?" thread that has been reworded and repackaged. There's no need to handle you with kid gloves Steve123. You're reading far too much into the situation and it's time to snap back into reality for your own good.

Seriously. . . that and it's a total asshole thing to do. And I agree with saphire, I couldn't say it with a straight face. "I love you, bwaahahahaha, oh man, just kidding. No seriously, you have a big cock."

Okay, Bob. So, what you're thinking is that Steve here is hoping that there are more sociopaths who would see that he's losing interest and would decide to begin lying to him about that to keep him around? That somehow it's his goal to be treated like that?

Yes many times and all the too many. But I KNOW the people that I say it to also understand that I'm saying it to thank them not in the literal sense & they say it right back!

So I'm not saying it in a tone where I'm professing my love. I say it in an appreciative up beat 'I love you!' thank you or sarcastically "I Luuvvvvv you" I don't think it's a big deal.

I feel like there is this new level of SS going around our local clubs, like an Uber Hustle cause the old material just isn't cutting it or something.

These lines get you thinking about her even when you aren't that into her.

A buddy of mine and I were comparing notes about one dancer whom we both know. It was sort of random, she went way past saying let's get together OTC, more of a 'I have strong feelings for you type thing', except it was out of context, she and I rarely talk and nothing in common.

So I am asking my buddy about her and turns out she tried the exact same approach with him and then another night we were hanging with another semi-friend, kind of a pl and he launches into how he has this amazing connection with this dancer and turns out to be the same woman, pretty funny and it worked on him anyway.

i dunno, seems like it is the next generation of hustle.
