Yesterday afternoon, I noticed my cat, Jazz, was having some difficulty using the litterbox. Some years ago, I had a cat who died from a urinary condition, so I was quite panicked. I immediately rushed Jazz to the vet, who seemed quite concerned but wouldn't know exactly what the problem was until all the test results came back. Luckily, they would be in the next day so I wouldn't have to wait over the weekend. It was agonizing just waiting overnight! But I just got the good news- it was only a minor infection that could be cleared up with medication.
Here's the neat part- I only happened to see the problem as I was looking in the medicine cabinet to research a silly post I was writing about Pepto Bismol in a thread here. If I hadn't been making that particular post at that particular time, I would never have gotten Jazz to the vet so quickly and it could have developed into a more serious problem.
Thanks, Stripperweb!
