I know stripping isn't about dancing, and the club I want to audition at doesn't even have a pole I believe. But what's the minimum I need to know how to do before I audition? I can walk straight in heels, and sway my hips back and forth, turn around without falling over and slip out of a gown with relative grace - will this get me through an audition or should I go to the club and study the dancers, come home and practice? Will knowing how to "dance" give me a significant edge in getting hired? I'm worried that if I focus a lot on learning how to dance it might actually make me more nervous. As always, thank you for the invaluable advice.
ps. When auditioning at a high end gown club I don't need to bring music or have music picked out, right? I'm assuming I'll just dance to whatever's playing?
