A 7 year old is gone for half an hour in a ZOO and a parent doesn't go, "Gee where did Billy go?"
No wonder he's killing animals.

He should be given mandatory pshyiatric treatment. Thats the first sign of a mental illness in a distrubed youth.
That's pretty scary. I hope he gets the mental help that he so obviously needs.

i hope the little cunt gets killed by an animal.

There are many stereotypes about the industry that I work in. Sometimes they can be true but human beings are very diverse creatures and cannot be pigeon-holed into one category.
Some of the most effortlessly beautiful, kind, intelligent, successful, motivated, driven and ridiculously hilarious women that I have ever met have been dancers. I've met the best friends that I've ever had in this industry.
Doesn't Alice Springs have the highest child molestation/rape rate in the country? I don't think anyone is born that evil.. I'd say he's been a little 'damaged' in some way.

Yeah, I was really sad when I heard about thisIt's like he's the anti-Steve-Irwin.

^^ It's sad, but Jesus Christ, he's only 7.
I like the title! Other forums I've been on are all "oh no!" Future serial killer seems about right... 7 years old, this kid has issues. The part about him having no real expression on his face in the videos is deeply disturbing. And wasn't his mother there outside or something weird?
Honestly this child will have killed domestic animals before, no two ways about it. And I can't see any way he's not going to grow up to hurt humans.![]()
Don't little kids do things like this all the time (though maybe not on that level)? I remember being cruel to the occasional bug as a small child. Now days I won't even kill a spider in my house, I catch it and take it outside. I had a bf who grew up in the desert and he confessed to killing lizards as a small child.
I agree it's a little disturbing, but I'm not sure it means "serial killer." I thought little boys killed bugs and lizards all the time.
Shame on the parents. Like Lysondra said, this makes me very suspicious of his home environment. Who lets a seven year old run around the zoo unescorted for half an hour??
There are people who are born with no conscience or soul at all, sociopaths. Do you guys ever watch Dexter? Or have you seen The Omen? Those types really do exist. It's scary but true.
Check out my new eBay auctions.......
Yeah it's normal to be fascinated by death. It's not normal to premeditate something like this or carry it out on such a large scale. Nor is it normal to show no external reaction.
Seriously, I'm thinking sociopath myself and there's fuck all you can do for someone completely devoid of empathy.Which is not to say they shouldn't try!
Do some kids become sociopaths from something wrong with their brain or their mom didnt nuture them as a baby??

Good question! I can put that psychology minor to good use now.
Okay, frankly, nobody knows for sure. It's the whole "Nature vs Nurture" debate....Are you depressed bc you parents raised you to be depressed, or is it a chemical imabalance...
There is evidence that both is true, and perhaps the strongest evidence is that people are born chemically predisposed to conditions and that their life experiences further propogate those tendencies.....
Plus there is the whole debate are chemical imablances created? Or are they always there...It's a tricky question...
I would say for somebody to be a straight up sociopath, they would probably have had a brain chemistry problem, chemical imbalance ETC and that would be coupled with an extremely upsetting childhood.
I would expect it would be both. It's logical that imbalances/messed up pathways could be created from stimulus as a child since your brain is developing so rapidly up until puberty.
As far as I'm concerned it's definitely physiological but hugely varied and we just don't understand the brain well enough. We simply don't know what a majority of brain matter does. I would think how much is socialised and how much is genetic would depend on the person.

just like adults, some children are just assholes. there's no need to over think it.

There's certainly need to think about it. Did he kill the lizards because kids sometimes do stupid things like burning ants with magnifying glasses, or did he enjoy killing the animals. There's a huge difference. Frankly I hope your right and the kid's just a little ass, and not a nutjub.

i think he certainly has a good chanc e of growing up and hurting more animals and humans.
there is a huge distinction between burning ants and what he did. he has no empathy for other living beings and at 7 years old he should have.
i love animals and have loved them from a young age. which is why i would feel no sympathy if that kid were to die coz at least no other animals would get hurt.

^^Which just reaffirms the point that there's need to think about it and discover the root of the kids problems.

i do understand your point. but i think it's a way that we as humans try to justify the behaviour of others. sometimes people are just bad eggs and they have had a normal upbringing but as i said before they are just assholes.
people try to intellectualise things like this when sometimes there is no point.
i just dont believe that all people can be helped - rapists, paedophiles, animal torturers and serial killers.

One of the reasons why some psychopaths might have had disturbed childhoods is that to the extent that it's a genetic brain condition, it's likely inherited - and thus you have psychopaths breeding and raising other psychopaths. There would thus be kind of an inevitable co-incidence of bad childhoods-psychpaths. For true psychopaths it wouldn't matter what conditions they were raised in for their condition to show itself, but I think this is the reason for at least some of the co-incidence of bad childhoods-psychopaths.
And sometimes people have horrible childhoods but become defenders of the weak.
There is something wrong with this kid regardless of his upbringing. Even if he has a bad childhood, but does not have the wiring of a true psychopath, his internal make-up is such that he responds to his stress by becoming a perpetrator - that makes him a danger to animals and, when he's older, other humans.
Anyway, he already is a serial killer. He just hasn't done it to humans at this point.
