It will depend on which web browser you are using. I have most of the common ones and a few others, too. Which browser and version are you using? To find this out, look up at the top menu bar. At the far left will be a blue Apple logo. Immediately to its right will be the name of the browser you are using. Click on this, and the first item on the dropdown menu will say, "About [browsername]". Click on this, and it will say something like, "Firefox Version 3.0.3," which is what I am using now.

Send me this info and I will tell you how to clear your page history. If you are a privacy freak like I am, you might also want to clear your cookies and your cache.

LOL yeah- I should have written Mac as opposed to MAC.

I did the history thing- I didn't even see that bar on the top of the monitor, I was so busy looking at the top of the page itself which has nothing.

    Thanks all.

I am presuming you are deleting your history because you do not want someone using the computer after you to see which sites you visited.

If this is the case, you should also delete your cookies and your cache. A person viewing the cookies who sees striperweb.com will know you visited stripperweb, etc. And every graphic image on every web site you visited is stored in your cache until you empty it or until it is older than the limit you set. A person can learn a lot by looking at those images.

I use Firefox (which I recommend if you do not already have it) and have it set so that every time I quit Firefox, it deletes all my private data.

Since I need to have some cookies saved to do my online banking, I have another browser that I use ONLY for banking. I never do any surfing on it at all, just banking.

This would not protect me if the police wanted to study my hard drive, but I never do anything illegal anyway, so I don't worry about that. I just like to keep my privacy.

I understand. I guess I should do that also. It isn't my computer, it is a friend's- so I can't change the OS. Her Mac uses Safari.

It's simple on Safari, but you can't make it automatic like on Firefox.

At the end of every session, just before you quit Safari, go up to the top menu bar. Top left is a blue Apple logo. Click on this, and about halfway down the list it will say, "Reset Safari." Select this. You get prompted with one of those "Do you really want to reset Safari" prompts, click yes, and then quit the program.

This clears the history, empties the cache, and deletes all the cookies.
