When was Nevada ever in the Obama column and even if it was, What does ACORN voter fraud if it is proven have to do with the Obama campaign? Conservatives are on the ropes and are now grasping for straws. Bill Ayers, Fannie May, Freddie Mac and Rev Wright will not save you. America is tired of your agenda and divisiveness and will vote for CHANGE.

I don't think it would matter if he did lose Nevada. I have Obama at well over 300 electoral votes.

Yep. 538 has him at 345 electoral votes today.

What does ACORN voter fraud if it is proven have to do with the Obama campaign?
Well, it's a safe bet that 0% of any ACORN organized votes (legitimate or fraudulent) will be cast for McCain !

(snip)"The extent of Obama’s ties to Acorn has not been recognized. We find some important details in an article in the journal Social Policy entitled, “Case Study: Chicago — The Barack Obama Campaign,” by Toni Foulkes, a Chicago Acorn leader and a member of Acorn’s National Association Board. The odd thing about this article is that Foulkes is forced to protect the technically “non-partisan” status of Acorn’s get-out-the-vote campaigns, even as he does everything in his power to give Acorn credit for helping its favorite son win the critical 2004 primary that secured Obama the Democratic nomination to the U.S. Senate.

Before giving us a tour of Acorn’s pro-Obama but somehow “non-partisan” election activities, Foulks treats us to a brief history of Obama’s ties to Acorn. While most press accounts imply that Obama just happened to be at the sort of public-interest law firm that would take Acorn’s “motor voter” case, Foulkes claims that Acorn specifically sought out Obama’s representation in the motor voter case, remembering Obama from the days when he worked with Talbot. And while many reports speak of Obama’s post-law school role organizing “Project VOTE” in 1992, Foulkes makes it clear that this project was undertaken in direct partnership with Acorn. Foulkes then stresses Obama’s yearly service as a key figure in Acorn’s leadership-training seminars.

At least a few news reports have briefly mentioned Obama’s role in training Acorn’s leaders, but none that I know of have said what Foulkes reports next: that Obama’s long service with Acorn led many members to serve as the volunteer shock troops of Obama’s early political campaigns — his initial 1996 State Senate campaign, and his failed bid for Congress in 2000 (Foulkes confuses the dates of these two campaigns.) With Obama having personally helped train a new cadre of Chicago Acorn leaders, by the time of Obama’s 2004 U.S. Senate campaign, Obama and Acorn were “old friends,” says Foulkes.

So along with the reservoir of political support that came to Obama through his close ties with Jeremiah Wright, Father Michael Pfleger, and other Chicago black churches, Chicago Acorn appears to have played a major role in Obama’s political advance. Sure enough, a bit of digging into Obama’s years in the Illinois State Senate indicates strong concern with Acorn’s signature issues, as well as meetings with Acorn and the introduction by Obama of Acorn-friendly legislation on the living wage and banking practices. You begin to wonder whether, in his Springfield days, Obama might have best been characterized as “the Senator from Acorn.”"(snip)

and here is some specific election history that, if stopped in future elections, would arguably have a significant effect on the outcome.

(snip)"EFF then initiated an independent investigation to determine whether the complaints were justified. The result? The complaints were well justified, and the problems were far worse than anyone had thought.

King County was the source of many mysteries, discrepancies, and clear instances of outright fraud that plagued Washington’s 2004 elections. The county, which includes Seattle, accounts for one-third of all votes cast in the state. On at least ten occasions King County election officials found that ballots were unsecured and not in a tamperproof location after the polls were closed. In nine of the ten instances, the officials simply added the ballots to the vote count.

King County election officials further admitted in sworn depositions that they deliberately submitted misleading ballot reconciliation reports. The reports are used to reconcile the number of voters with the number of actual ballots cast. But the officials didn’t even know how many absentee ballots the county sent out and how many of those were returned. King County ultimately had 875 more absentee votes counted than the number of people who said they voted absentee. Officials just shrugged their shoulders and said they would do better next time.

Evidence also exists that voter registration occurred at state mental institutions and among Alzheimer’s patients in extended care facilities. In addition, more than 1,400 felons whose voting rights had not been restored were allowed to vote, including one felon who voted absentee from his jail cell!

And here’s a stunner. At least 55,175 ballots were “enhanced” in King County. That means election workers decided how voters meant to vote for governor, even when in some cases the voter did not select a gubernatorial candidate at all.

Finally, in five Washington counties 8,500 more ballots were counted as cast than there were voters credited with voting. Despite the evidence of electoral mismanagement, illegal voting and possible voter fraud, there was no outcry this time from the so-called Election Protection Coalition. The activist groups did not protest the dilution of legitimate votes by illegal voters. Instead, they chose conspicuous silence or they remarked that little could be done about inevitable human error."(snip)

I could go on and on, but perhaps best sums up the situation.

repubs intimidate people from showing up to vote. dems inflate the counts of people who did.

to obama's credit, he instructs his people from the top down to regulate on BOTH kinds of vote fraud. he can't get it all, but he is doing his best to reduce it down to non-partisan-benefitting levels for this election.

    mccain, hardly.
