Default makeup and hair extension question.

    I have two beauty questions.

One is, what are some of your favorite makeup items that are water proof and smudge proof? I mean like you can put this shit on and run a marathon or swim 10 laps and your face will still be perfectly painted...

    I am interested in:
    foundations
    eyeliner (liquid or pencil)
eyebrow pencil (I draw mine in completely and damnit I want them to stay on after an entire night of debauchery!
    lipstick
whatever else may come to mind...

My second question is for those of you that know hair extensions:
How long can I expect these type of extensions to last:
    http://www.doctoredlocks.com/store/t...s_crochet.html

This will be my first time with this sort of extension and I want to kind of be able to gauge how long it will be before I can do them again... Also if you have ever done these... about how long did they take from start to finish?

you can buy a sealer at benefit(http://www.benefitcosmetics.com/gp/p...re&nodeID=APS), called she-laq that basically turns your makeup water proof. i also use a clear mascara sealer by clinique that you paint on after your mascara has dried, this stuff is amazing seriously i can wear mascara to the beach and it wont come off.
as far as long lasting lipsticks i recommend any MAC Matte lipstick, make sure you use a base beforehand tho(or just use concealer/foundation)

Thanks! I have had She Laq before and you are right it does work well. I am going to look into that clear mascara sealer as well. Do you put it over waterprrof mascara or does it work over ANYTHING? Thanks!

Liquid Eyeliner: KissMe liquid eyeliner. I think it's the exact same formulation as their mascara (the mascara that comes off in "tubes") It's kind of like a paint on strip.. .can't describe it well, but you have to rub it or pull it off.

I am lovign that crocheted hair extensions. That looks kind of easy to do also. Like as long as you ahve a friend that can braid it up for you the extension part does not look hard at all. I imagine you would want to re-braid your hair and re-do it every week or two depending on how good your hair will hold the braids.
The extensions themselves you shoudl be able to re-use. Just take them out, wash them good, then put them back in.
honestly I really have no idea. I am just takin gmy best educated guess. I have only had my hair braided two ro three times. I took it out in less then a week but my hair is really soft and fine so it didnt hold very well. But like I said, if you have a friend that can braid it shoudlnt be too big of a hassle to have a friend re-do it once a week or so. Eventually you may be able to learn to do it yourself. I know lots of black girls that can braid their own hair .. its amazing.
