Default Crashed thru the $3.00 a gallon barrier today...in the right direction!

I filled up today at $2.95 at gallon How long has that been! Still, it's pretty sad when you a celebrating paying just a nickle under three bucks

Are any of you seeing precipitous drops? I assume so but I know that the markets are different all over the country.

Yeah, I was down to less than a quarter tank and it "only" cost a bit over $50 to fill up.

Ohio got hit harder and more rapidly than many areas when the prices really shot up so maybe this is a boomerang effect in the declining direction. I don't expect the prices to stay low for all that long. I'm convinced the economy will improve and economic activity increase after the election regardless of who wins.

Well, I will be at my vacation home in early November for a couple of weeks. If I'm lucky there will be reasonable prices then. I usually give my gasoline business to that company that has the white and green signs...I am drawing a blank on the name. They always seemed to have the best prices.

Yes! I hate when I have a brain fart...I've had a lot of those lately.

I swear, it seemed like their prices were the best at least up in my area on US19 up towards Port Richey. But your heads up will make me a more careful shopper

I did. I made the mistake of topping off the other day before the price dropped......23 cents. I could've had a free slushie with the savings.

The oil companies must have my car Lojacked or something.

I was pleased that it was $3.47 ($3.44 with my loyalty card) until I saw the prices some of you have. A few weeks ago, the only states with higher gas prices than Utah were Alaska and Hawaii. But at least it is down from the $4.10 that was the peak.

I sometimes wonder if incumbent politicians are manipulating the prices and prices will go up again after election day.

I bet Cal is adding a bunch of taxes. No reason why I should play 55 cents less than you.

Mia, PA must have higher taxes than Ohio. You should protest! $2.15 is no longer a deal
