Interesting. Sounds like legislated vigilante justice.

It does, actually. I looked further into this and McCain voted yes on it (The Military Commissions Act of 2006), while Obama, H. Clinton, and Ron Paul all voted no. Eep.

Wait till you hear about the "detention camps" contracts Haliburton has... and that the 1st Infantry division is being redeployed to US soil for "civil strife" and "major storm" assistance.

    An infantry division.

    For police powers.

    A text I got:
When a guy talks dirty to a woman it's sexual harassment, when a woman talks dirty to a man it's $3.95 a minute!

We went thru this discussion in 2006 (Patriot Act, Gitmo etc). Our outrage hasn't turned anything around yet, has it?
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

We keep voting in the same losers for Congress. Every two years we have the chance to make formidable change in one of the branches of government and every two years we let the same idiots back into office.

Pretty much right there, but there are some changes that seem to get swallowed up in the 'system.'

From my understanding it would still have to be suspended for them to actually do anything, or am I reading wrong.
