    Default Making shoes NOT hurt?

mmkay. So I purchased these beauties! (first pair!) off of ebay.

Now, the part around my toes, particularly where my toes go out, not where they go in, is digging into my toes.

Is there anyway I can make that more comfortable other than bandaids? I also find if I slip my feet back toward the heel of the shoe, just a tad, it's not putting pressure on my toes, therefore not hurting. Thanks in advance!

I have that pair, you just need to break them in. Wear them for as long as you can and then switch pairs... or wear them around the house at first. It get better.

Honey its gonna hurt until they stretch out, if they were clear I would suggest a blow dyer to make them lager, that kind you can buy adhesive medical tape wrap around where its tight (or bandaid if its the back) and wear until they stretch, but I've had that kind and it gives a callus! It's the price of beauty.
Needless to say, putting up with that type of stuff can take its toll psychologically

    1) Lotion your feet first

    2) Take a blow dryer to the vinyl to warm it up and make it more plyable.

    3) Put the shoes on while they're still warm.

    4) Or just get them a size larger than you normally wear.

alrighty. Thanks you guys. I had just been wearing them around the house the past couple of days they haven't budged at all. so I figured that maybe there was something else to be done. I will dry the blow dryer trick when I get home today.

Do wear them around the house - but wear them with thick socks - also, use a damp towel to stuff the toe and leave them over night, that should make the toe stretch a little. Clear ones are easier to deal with - if you like the security of a strap you can get clear shoes with a clear strap too - tip for the next pair!

You can get mole skin from CVS or Walgreens. Its right next to the Dr. Scholl's stuff. Cut a piece of the mole skin into the shape of the part of the shoe that is digging into you skin and place it on the inside of your shoe. It has a sticky adhesive to cling to the shoe and the mole skin is soft and prevents the shoe from stick to your skin.

Yeah. When I'm breaking in new shoes, that part digs like crazy into my feet. I have to spend a whole night wearing the shoes/bearing the pain...(not just wearing them around the house, but actually dancing in them--which involves twisting, etc.)...and they're usually broken in after that.

Oh, and soak your toes in surgical spirit to toughen them up to help a bit (a tip from my ballet days).

I loooove Pleasers. Just takes time, I was swearing at my feet the first few days, I had these nasty scabby things on top from too much rubbing. But now I can wear them all day.

I have the exact same shoes. It's all about breaking them in.
