Default Wall Street banks in $70bn staff payout

Financial workers at Wall Street's top are to receive pay deals worth more than $70bn (£40bn), a substantial proportion of which is expected to be paid in discretionary bonuses, for their work so far this year - despite plunging the global financial system into its since the 1929 stock market crash, the Guardian has learned.

Staff at six banks including and Citigroup are in line to pick up the payouts despite being the beneficiaries of a $700bn bail-out from the US government that has already prompted criticism. The government's cash has been poured in on the condition that excessive executive pay would be curbed.

Well, I hope our congressional overseers wil carefully watch this. If they find it is happening, I sure heads will roll, literally. Paybacks, prison, corps taken over by govt until new management can be found. A LOT of crooks out there, lured by a permissive regulatory system. It always happens. Why do we not see it?
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.
