OK, so at my club, if a customer buys a dance/drink/CR/anything, he has up to a year to dispute it with his credit card company.
Last night, I had my first $1k+ night. This guy bought me two CR, and then bought my time for the rest of the night. He signed his credit card slip, and was buzzed - not sober, not drunk - when he signed them (he had two beers by the time he was ready for the CR). The waiter and bouncer both witnessed that. He spent, in total, over $2500 at the club on his card alone, including tips and extra beers and drinks. In total, I recieved about $1.5k of the money he spent.
Now, if this guy complains, I have to give back all the money I earned to the club. I think it is unfair, but I really do need this money for rent, since I was sick most of this month and couldn't work, however, that's the way the club is run.
How often do men complain about what is on their card? It won't show up at "strip club" or anything, just a very generic name.
The reason I think this guy WILL complain is cause he did end up passing out in the CR and throwing up (ew).He ended up getting kicked out because of this (duh) as well because he took his pants off and exposed himself (double ew). The guy was single, not married, so he doesn't have much to lose if he does debate the charges, although he DOES work as a civilian contractor for the military, so I don't know if that will reflect badly on him with the military if he does complain.
I'm just nervous. I had a great night and I don't want it to be ruined by some idiot trying to pull a fast one or anything. Someone please make me feel OK!
