Default Eating clean for a week BLARGH

So I'm eating clean for a week, not strength training, and doing 1 hour cardio every day in a desperate attempt to lose 5 pounds and look good in my Halloween costume. I want my abs back!

Eating clean sucks! This little bowl of oatmeal seems like so much to eat, and it's NASTY.

I'll list what I'm allowed to eat tonight.

Add protein powder in it. Load up on the cinnamon also, it speeds metabolism.

Try to add a little strength training. Strong muscles burn more calories.

Congrats on the healthy choice. Hope you stick with it.

+1 on the cinnamon, it also makes oatmeal way more palatable (assuming you like cinnamon I guess..)

I strength train, but I'm focusing on only cardio and clean eating for a week to drop a little weight fast.

I've been on a clean eating diet for the past month for Halloween too. I'm doing a personal photo shoot on Halloween so I want to look my best.

Anyways, for breakfast I've been having kefir, flaxseed and mixed fresh fruit shakes. They're AWESOME! They taste good, relatively low in calories, packed with nutrients and keep me full.

I started taking probiotics and WOW, my bloat is GONE! It decreases your appetite also.

For lunch I have a salad and for dinner I actually eat whatever I want, just in small portions.

I completely eliminated alcohol from my diet (but not for Halloween, haha)

I haven't change my fitness regime because I already work out five days a week.

My point is it works and I have more energy. I don't weigh myself but I can see more definition in my abs!

    Good Luck!

    I would diss the oatmeal

Yes and in my case dramatically!

The kefir has natural live probiotics in it and I substitute it for yogurt in my shakes. I just get the plain so I don't have any added sugar.

I also take an oral probiotic (the ones that have to be refrigerated) with lunch or dinner.
